So sorry about the slow progress for the past month... So many things happened starting with my brother's wedding taking away 4 whole days of work, a very strong food poison I couldn't work for a couple days and causing a long ass 8 days diarrhea, and my brother and father's birthday on the same month. July has been the most cruel month for my schedule in this year so far.

Aside from that, I made this image above. The "Favorite Anime Bingo" thing has been a thing on twitter last week so I made a spin and created my version, being my most disappointed animes.

There are reasons to it and I know that could be affecting some nerves of some of you guys seeing your favorite animes on this list, and you possibly can't wait to know my reasoning!

Chrno Crusade - The manga of this thing is legendary. Seriously recommending it, but the anime didn't follow the manga AT ALL for some reason and decided to make their own alteration which ended up being horrid and utterly garbage. If you heard about this series, you'll know people treat Chrono Crusade's anime adaptation as never existed.

Dragon Ball GT - Rent VHS tapes from a store as a kid and watched the whole thing. Did not have fun at all but wanted to see through it til the end, still not fun. Discovered later on that it wasn't canon and even Toriyama Akira himself didn't approve the existence of this anime. This spinoff should never has been born.

Sekirei - I read the manga because the mangaka was the one who made Sensitive Pornograph, an extremely high quality yaoi series and I liked it a lot so I decided to check out. The manga was decent so I tried the anime and it was trash.

Kantai Collection - Did not like the anime at all... the first 9-10 episodes were slice of life tryhard that didn't work, and everything else was jam packed into the later episodes and the pacing was horrible.

Aku no Hana - Didn't read the manga but my gf said it was great. One of the gem that could become a big hit if adapted properly into anime, but the anime version was... holyshit I don't even know if you can call this thing an anime? It's a rotoscope that looked so cheap without proper lighting setup and it didn't even try to fix anything but the hair color of the actors. If they're gonna do that, why don't they just make a Japanese drama live action series out of it? Why insult the manga and waste the potential to do a proper adaptation that could become something big? And now Aku no Hana's reputation is ruined forever and no one will ever look at it the same way despite the manga has so much potential. omg I hate this anime so much. 0/10.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia - The manga was so great. I enjoyed every bit of it. The anime adaptation was garbage. The pacing is so dated. The directing was horrible, and I couldn't stand watching through the first episode.

Erementar Gerad - Heard some good things about the manga so I decided to check out the anime. The show was so boring and cliche.

Date A Live - This might make someone mad but... I don't like this anime at all ;_; It was so bland and cliche and generic and I don't know why it's so popular at the time.

Togainu no Chi - The visual novel/game was so good. It was one of the best yaoi game of all time with impactful story and awesome character designs. The anime however, is complete garbage and shouldn't have existed.

Infinite Stratos - Again, people could be mad but I really don't like this anime much... the protagonist is so annoying and cliche, the plot is cliche, the girls are cliche and most of them are annoying and the dialogues are soooo bad and cheesy. I just cringed through the whole thing T T I'm sorry...

Dagashi Kashi - I saw the main girl's character design and liked her so much and I heard it's a show about oldschool Japanese candies so I was so interested. Checked out first 2 episodes and dropped immediately. This anime is basically a cringe compilation.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next - I enjoyed the first season a lot! But this second season makes no sense and wasn't even fun in the slightest. I was so bummed out about it and I heard nothing but bad things for the rest of the stories after this in the light novel, too.

Ao no Exorcist - So cringey. Watched the first episode and dropped right away.

Oda Nobuna no Yabou - If you guys know me, I'm a Sengoku Jidai fanboy. Throw anything Sengoku at me and I'll bite it all so I was excited about this show. Watched the first episode and dropped right away. Same reasons to Infinite Stratos above, but even worse in degree.

Hakyuu Houshin Engi - I was a huge fan of the manga! To give a context it was a legendary Shounen Jump manga around 15 years ago and I loved reading it. To see it getting a new anime adaptation in 2017 got me sooo excited! Was hoping to see an awesome anime of today's standard being remade, but nope. This show has the lowest budget possible and I was so disappointed by that. There was barely anything animated in this version of anime. Things moved around like a Microsoft Powerpoint slide show.

Shokugeki no Soma - Again, what's with this anime adaptation from high quality mangas not delivering? The manga was so great and full with life, but the anime's direction and animation makes it look like the whole show is some filler Naruto arc. highly recommend reading the manga instead.

Freezing - Imagine Highschool DxD but there's nothing good about it. That's this show.

Shakugan no Shana - I didn't like it. The whole "Overpowered sword weilding Loli protecting the pathetic male protagonist" doesn't appeal to me in the first place and this show takes itself so seriously yet it failed to deliver anything "Show don't tell" about it. My junior classmate in college recommended it to me saying it was the best anime ever made. Watched a couple episodes and dropped it.

Gakkou Gurashii - I read the manga and liked the concept so I checked out the anime and man, why? Why waste the whole first episode trying so hard to be unique when it's like you don't know how to direct a slice of life/happy comedic episode properly? Dropped it after the first episode knowing the pacing is going to be this bad.

Senran Kagura - While the games are so good, the anime adaptation was so pointless and unnecessary. Instead of bringing more people into the franchise, it'd keep them away once they have watched this generic fanservice thing.

Re:Zero - I know many people treat this like an anime of this decade but... I hate the pacing. I hate the dialogues, and I hate the protagonist. Even Emilia is annoying. I couldn't stand watching it until the good part comes up. I just can't invest more time in it. I know there will be mind blowing plot twists and dramatic scenes coming up like everyone said but I just can't stand the direction of this anime. I cringed throughout the whole time I tried watching it. I'm so sorry.

Sankarea - The concept was so good! I really liked the first few episodes where things were super serious and I thought it's gonna stay that way, until it reveals itself that it's a comedy? I don't know why they have to spend that much time telling people that it's a serious story when it's not. I felt betrayed and stupid for watching this show.

He is My Master - Bad show. Pointless. Cliche. Cringey. Bad characters. Bad directing. Bad jokes. Bad animation. Nothing about this show is worth mentioning.

Guilty Crown - Why such a bland, generic, tryhard to become Code Geass of a show has such an amazing music? Why?

That's all. Hope you guys have a good day! I don't mind some opinion clashing! Whether you agree or disagree please feel free to leave a comment so I get to know your taste better, too!

not sure if you're looking for something good to watch but I've watched 91 Days recently (English dub) and i quite enjoyed it. (it takes about 4 episodes or so to actually get into it though) Its probably the best anime I've watched in the last year. otherwise i agree with a great deal of your list (especially the Dagashi Kashi being pretty poor story wise but having great character designs. One anime I'd add to my own personal list (which would probably get alot of flack from others) is Sword Art Online I'm just not a fan.

Densetsu Meru

Have to say that a lot of those, the manga was good and then the anime adaptation was kind of janky. I liked Chrno Crusade, Sekirei, Haganai, Shokugeki. Nobuna gets slightly better imo, but it's one of those more enjoyable while braindead series I guess.

I'm pretty sure majority of people will agree with you on SAO! Personally I know SAO is such a flawed show with horrible protagonist, but it was pretty refreshing when it first released and I watched it without knowing any hype or bias and had a good time with it so it wasn't a bad anime, just certainly not as good as the fanboys say. It's a 6/10 show. Definitely will check 91 Days out when I have time!

True. I'm more a manga guy to begin with, and often the anime adaptations don't deliver and it maked me so sad. I feel like Nobuna's character designs have so little to do with their historical figures' gimmick. It's just girls wearing costumes with moe trope characteristic, but I could be wrong since I watched just a couple episodes.

I'm *still* mad about Kantai and even moreso the movie don't even @ me holy shit.

I even felt like Kancolle's popularity started to decline after the anime series... like if the anime adaptation is gonna be that generic, don't make them in the first place. Instead of drawing more people in, it'd give the opposite effect. Same goes to shows like Persona 5 the anime or Senran Kagura.

Ok, so, everyone hated GT. I personally liked it, but that's just me. I tend to like things others don't. So I'm not surprised there. Date A Live I liked because it was a literal anime dating sim with Mecha musume (I know I spelled it wrong). Everything else I've never seen or made it past episode 1.

There are many things that I didn't like in GT. I'm not a fan of space adventure. I don't like Pan that much. I don't like the villains in GT, and SSJ4 looks like a fanfic character design. The pacing and actions and stuffs were still ok, but the major decisions in that series just didn't make sense to me as a kid. I won't mind if DAL is a dating sim. In fact, if they focused on making it a dating sim and not action based I believe it'd be better and more unique but they tried so hard to make an action anime/light novel out of an interesting concept and it's become mediocre. A waste of opportunity imo.
