Greek Square (Patreon)

"One of the better attractions of the city, the Square was said to have been where Davinocles brought the children of Demeter to trade their blessings for his service. As the legend goes, when his people founded Mesistopeles, they pledged an unyielding loyalty to all that grows.

Even still to this day, the myths and legends that surround the site where the city square now stands are evident. Trade booms, the trees and vines that encompass the city grow rapidly, but never intrusively, as if nature itself was in harmony within the city blocks.

While many of its citizens stay true to the vows of legend, the populace overall has grown less devout in the following of the old ways. Still, none can contest the prosperity the city has enjoyed for centuries. Mesistopeles remains a cornerstone in the northern realms, despite the ever-encroaching attrition collapsing the nations of the known world. Slow is the ebb and flow of change, but against the enduring tide, Mesistopeles persists."

And we're away on the Greek theme! Starting off strong with this lovely greek square (totally not a rectangle), where your trusty adventurers can find new quest, have their pockets picked and who knows - perhaps be chased by a local mob.

Next up I'm moving on to a classic amphitheater which'll be perfect for a greek tradgidy!
