She wouldn't say so out loud, but Anna was rather unimpressed by the entity's newest gimmick. She could understand its displeasure with how short the hunts had grown lately, but while adding shrunken survivors to the mix was dragging things out more, killing them was incredibly mundane. There was no way to track them, they could only hide and basically stood no chance of escaping, they were just a massive chore to find. Once she did they were pitifully easy to snuff out, she didn't even need her hatchets as a single stomp typically did the job. But the whole experience just felt more like pest control than the thrill of the hunt.


She knew the entity wouldn't care however. Its needs always  took priority over hers, and it seemed to enjoy watching her slaughter the worthless bugs. She would either have to get used to the monotony of it, or perhaps find new ways to make their deaths more challenging...
