Phineas was bored one summer day, his brother Ferb was helping out their dad while Phineas was stuck at home with their sister Candace. Not wanting to create any new inventions without his brother, Phineas instead decided to go through their old blueprints and recreate some old inventions. The first one he decided to work on was the state-of-matter transfer device, since Candace's accident with it the first time had cut short their actual plans for it. He really should have taken the first accident as a warning...

He wasn't even sure what he'd done wrong, but the device malfunctioned in the worst possible way. Blasting him into a puddle was bad enough, since Ferb wasn't around to help fix him. But the machine had managed to liquefy itself as well! He hadn't told anyone what he was working on, with the device now it's own grey puddle it would be a miracle if someone figured out what had happened!

While Phineas was panicking and praying for someone to notice him, Candace did in fact notice how quiet the backyard had gotten. She'd heard her brother tinkering out their earlier and had threatened to tell Mom if he didn't quiet down, but it was bizarre for him to actually listen to her...

Wandering out, she was shocked to see the backyard deserted. No crazy machines, no giant constructions? As she marched around the only strange thing she noticed was an orange puddle she stepped in, one of the boys must have spilled some juice earlier. As far as she could tell, Phineas had decided to leave the house, to visit his friends, or maybe build something crazy elsewhere? On the one hand it was against the rules for him to leave without asking her first, but should she really waste time chasing him down or calling their mother when she finally had some peace and quiet? Candace smirked and let her shoulders loosen, she practically skipped back into the house to enjoy her time alone. 

Meanwhile, a good chunk of Phineas was stuck to the bottom of her shoes, slammed mercilessly into the ground with her every step. He could taste every inch of the filthy tread of her footwear as well as the ground below, and his tiny voice couldn't quite seem to reach his now giantess sister no matter how much he yelled. He hoped either her or Ferb would notice him soon and scraped him off of here, he'd only been trampled on for about a minute and he was already sure to have nightmares about this for weeks...
