Health Update (Patreon)

The surgeon confirmed no retinal detachment. I'm having a dual procedure on Tuesday, August 29th — a 'wash out' to remove the blood, then laser surgery to repair the blood vessel/retina. It's done with near consciousness sedation (by propofol), and requires no sutures. 

Recovery is about 30 days, but after the first week, things will being to return to normal (or what passes for normal in Chez Penguin).
