So glad you're watching this! A few things: This is based on a book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Sir Pratchett (knighted by the Queen of England) passed away a while ago and so Neil Gaiman had to take the helm in making this live action a thing, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett were very close friends and Neil Gaiman is dedicating this series to his friend Terry.

If this one is frying your brain, I reckon you would like the series supernatural. It’s very long starts a little bit slow, but there’s lots of heaven and hell angels and Demons and crazy stuff

As an Aussie, I feel obligated to suggest Aziraphale's nickname be Azza. 😂 Azi would work, too, if it's too difficult/tedious to keep saying Azira in your upcoming reactions because you'll be saying it a lot, I reckon. So happy you're starting this journey and enjoying it thus far!

Ooh, yes- we need to get Supernatural on a poll next time Morgan's asking for recs! I've not seen many reactors do the show, maybe because it is long, as you said, but it's so good and worth the watch. It's got action, romance, comedy, heartfelt moments, and the behind-the-scenes stuff with all the cast and crew is also great. I already have a few scenes/episodes in mind that I think their reaction to would be priceless, lol.

As someone who read and re-read the book, the show does a very good job of just lifting from the pages to the screen! There is a lot of lore drop that can tend to lean on the watcher having prior Christian Bible knowledge but telling it through Aziraphale and Crowley makes it much more enjoyable. They are ~☆ineffable☆~! Looking forward to more of this one. Season 2 is even better, imo, even if it does hurt a bit!

Fun Fact: The scene where Crowley and Aziraphale were at Warlock's birthday party is a little different in the book. One of the kids said the Aziraphale was rubbish and a certain word that I won't type because I don't want to get in trouble.

Well, at least you know how Aziraphale and Crowley really met lol 😂 (but don’t worry about any spoilers from season 2 in that scene, it spoils nothing for that season)

The humor in the show is very British. It's Gaiman and Pratchett so that's to be expected. David Tennant is probably best known for his time as The Tenth Doctor on "Doctor Who". BUT in our little corner of the fandom community, he's been doing voice work for a fair amount of animated series of late. Famously Scrooge McDuck in "Ducktales" and the Rescue Rangers movie. Other animated credits include The Legend of Vox Machina, Final Space, The Amazing Maurice, Clone High, and most recently, Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur. Michael Sheen I'm admittedly less studied on. Eager for you to get familiar with Aziraphale and Crowley. Wish I had Crowley's swagger, but I more relate to Aziraphale's love of Earthly delights.
