- Events/Progression -


Still mostly working on more options with characters, writing and drawing more scenes for most of them. I'm trying to work toward the mid-gameish part where I'd like to have major options on a few routes you can take. They are more like large quest lines but you'll have to choose which one you put your money towards. There will ultimately lead to the end game which will set up the next expansion.


- Bugs -


I've been fighting with a really annoying bug crashing the game when the screen fades out and loads another screen. For now I've just taken out all the fade outs and it seems to have fixed it but I'll have to do more research on what's causing it. This is the first "real" bug I've come across so far but I think it's more something to do with the Unity update again since it wasn't happening in the previous version. I don't think I'll update Unity again for now unless they implement something to directly improve the game. I only did it this time because they finally fixed the 4:3 resolution screen position issue. It becomes an annoying roll of dice with the updates fixing some things but breaking others, ultimately wasting a lot of time in the process though.


- Minor Stuff -


Some other minor tweaks and color changes to make things easier to see or understand. Also making the reset button in the Dancing setting into it's own button. Just quite a bit of minor stuff.


I've been working more on the comic this week and haven't put a lot of time towards Injustice. I'm still looking into the saving issue but it's really throwing darts in the dark. I haven't been able to see or replicate the problem on any of my computers and it becomes next to impossible to figure out what you can't see. When it gets closer to the release of the new build I'm going to spend a few days with some test games I'll send out and people can try. Hopefully I can get some info from those.


As far as the mac build goes I'm working on getting an old macbook or something soon. Trying to fix it sight unseen is not going to work either and I pretty much no experience with macs. Last time I used one besides a phone or tablet was probably ten years ago. I'll still release it but the same problem will probably still be present. It's annoying for mac users I know. Once the game is closer to completion I'll focus on fixing bugs, optimizations, save/load, generally making sure everything is working for everyone for the offical release.

I'll have to see about how I put them in the game. They might be set paths since it get's tough to juggle a lot of things around. I'm still writing out the ideas and figuring them out for now. I like the running for President though, or just having a purpose to making all your money and it playing out a unique storyline. Yeah it seems to be the case that anyone who played a previous version had no problems. Something with 1.4 not creating the new keys in the registry for some reason but if they are already there, it's fine. I still have some tests to try out but that seems to be the logical cause.

I'd like there to be something like that in the vault where you could replay scenes you've seen. I haven't really even started on the vault though. It would probably just be the unique scenes and if you gain a certain level of relationship with a character all scenes would be open to you. It is a great idea that I'd like to implement but somehow directing from a single place to dozens of scenes embedded in other scenes would be pretty complicated. I'd definitely get everything in there if it could be done in a simple manner.

Will the large quest lines be set in stone, meaning once you take them you have to follow them till the end or will they be open ended? Also I noticed that bug save might have something to do with Unity update or a script path, but I haven't had enough time to check on it. All I knew was that 1.3 had a save path while 1.4 didn't make one.
