CHAPTER 6

On the way to the church, suddenly they heard a cry of pain. Without hesitation at all, Asia quickly jogged to the direction to see a boy on the ground crying with his mother next to him.

"Are you alright Yosh-kun?"

Asia bends down to match the boy's height.

"Are you okay? Boys shouldn’t cry over a minor injury like this."

She said with a kind smile as she pats the boy's head gently. She then put her palm where the boy has injured himself. The next moment, a green light orb appears from her palm and was flashing onto the boy’s knee.

It was warm and cozy, that was the feeling when he reached out for the orb.

Twilight Healing, Asia's Sacred Gear, the gift from God himself. It has the ability to heal any species, akin to rapid regeneration, though it cannot heal and regenerate amputated limbs.

A few moments later, the boy’s injury was gone and there wasn’t even a trace left. The boy’s mother is in shock, but to be fair, anyone who saw something unimaginable would have a similar reaction.

"Here, your wounds are now healed. The pain should be gone now."

She said, patting the boy's head once more before standing back up. She looked at Sin with an apologetic face.

"I’m sorry, but I had to."

He waved it off.

"No, I'm glad that you actually did that, Sister."

Now, he was sure. He would not let anything happen to her as long as he breathes. She's too sacred for this damned world.

The boy’s mother, who was still in shock, shook her head then grabs the boy's hand, so they could leave quickly from the "witch".

"Thank you, Onee-chan!"

"He said, "Thank you, sister." in Japanese."

Sin translated as she had a bright smile.

"I-I'm glad he's OK now!"

Continuing their walk, Sin asked.

"Sister Asia, that power..."

"Yes, it’s the power to heal. It’s a wonderful power that God gave me."

She smiled at the thought of God, but her smile weakens as she looked at the ring on her finger sadly. That was when Sin remembered.

Diodora Astaroth, that bitch of a devil. He was still alive tricking nuns and sisters from his remaining memories of DxD. The mere thought of him tricking Asia to make her his slave made him growl subconsciously in anger.

No, he was going to die the moment they meet. No words will be exchanged, the moment he sees that bastard, he will rip his balls out and cut his dick before he dies from a missing heart. That was a promise.

"A-Are you OK?"

Asia asked with a hint of fear and concern on her face, seeing Sin's angry face.

"... Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry for scaring you, Sister."

He mutters in apology as Asia shook her head cutely.

"No, i-it's fine! I think that Mr. Sin isn't very scary at all! After all, Mr. Sin helped me just now!"

She said with a serious face as Sin couldn't help but chuckle at her cuteness. It was as if his heart was eating sugar, she was just so cute.

Patting her head gently, they eventually reached to their destination, the church, after a few minutes of walking.

"Yes, this is the place! I’m so glad."

Asia shows a sigh of relief after having compared their location with the map she has. But before she could walk near the church, he stops her.

"Asia, are you sure that this is the place? It has been abandoned for many years now."

He asks Asia as he used his free hand to flick one of the two locks of the guitar case open.

"Um... Yes?"

She cutely tilts her head to the side as she answered his answer. Letting go of her hand, he reached to the last lock when the door to the church opened, revealing a young-aged man with white hair and closed eyes.

"Ah, you must be Sister Asia Argento. Welcome to Kuoh's church."

He said in a gentle tone, bowing slightly.

"Ah, good e-evening, Father!"

He then turns to Sin for a slight second before thanking him for sending their Sister to the church. Sin stared at him, his eyes frowning before flicking the final lock on the guitar case.

"Mr. Sin — ?"

Reacting instantly, he dodged a light spear heading towards his head by leaning back before tossing the guitar case towards the source of the spear.

Hugging Asia's waist (And hearing a flustered "Ah!" from Asia), he quickly covered her body with his as countless beams of light shot out from the church towards them.

TING TING TING TING TING TING TING TING TING!

But before the bullets of light could touch him, a white blur from his leather bag leaps out before getting between them and the bullets, blocking the gunfire. When Asia opens her eyes again, she stared at the object in awe.

Floating behind Sin was a white mantle that was large enough to cover his huge body, with its interior resembling a window into a slowly shifting beautiful star field.

Floating towards him, Sin grabs onto the mantle before wrapping it around Asia.

"This will be over in a minute, alright? Hang tight for now and don't let go of this."

He turns back to look at the now emerging force of exorcists.

"... How the hell did you find out about the ambush, you damn bitch?!"

The "Father"'s expression turned an 180° as he snarked with a rude tone, his eyes opening to reveal red eyes.

"Everyone in the supernatural knows about you, Freed Sellzen. Excommunicado from the Church."

Turning around abruptly, he fired a blast of fire magic at the woods on his left.

"And you don't have to hide, fallen. I can sense you from a mile away."

Sensing the sudden increase in light energy, he quickly back stepped as multiple light infused spears rushed at his previous direction, missing him.

"Ho? Interesting..."

From the woods, four Fallen Angels with a pair of black crow wings flew up into the sky before suspending themselves in midair.

"W-Wait, Mr. Sin! T-They're — !"

"Asia, they were planning on extracting your Sacred Gear."

She stops in shock as the main Fallen angel yelled in panic.

"You! How did you know that?!"

He just stares at the familiar Fallen Angel.

"I know a lot of things, Raynare."

In anger, she created a spear from light energy before throwing it at him.

"Mr. Sin, watch out!"

Asia warns in panic as he didn't move from his spot, the spear stabbing into his chest with a sickening splurt.

Looking at the fading spear, he heard the Fallen Angels laugh in mockery as he stayed standing up.

"Oh, I thought he was going to be interesting, but it seems like he was just a puny insect!"

The sole male fallen laughed as the little fallen snickered with him. The blue haired one, however, was staring at him with a light spear in hand, somehow cautious of the man before her.

"Dang, he died so quick! Not fair, I wanted to play with him more!"

Freed said with disappointment as the exorcists behind him dropped their guard since their target had a fatal wound in the chest. Raynare had the face of confusion before huffing.

"As expected, humans sure bark a lot, but they don't bite at all..."

Sin listened in amusement before he could feel warmth on his wound.

"M-Mr. Sin... P-Please don't die..."

Asia whispered in agony as she started healing him with her Twilight Healing, the mantle surrounding her floating behind her. Tilting his head to look behind her, he just gave her a smile.

"No worries, Asia, I don't die that easily."

As he said that, a wave of power bursts out from him, sending shivers down everyone's spine as his wound regenerated instantly. Holding onto the poor girl's shivering hands, Sin holds onto her before disappearing from their (enemies) sight.

"What?!"

Raynare quickly summoned two light spears on both hands, the rest following along, as they watched their surroundings with caution.

"I told you to be more alert!"

The blue one, Kalawarner, said harshly as she scanned the area, but she couldn't feel anything at all.

Suddenly, they heard a yelp as the little Fallen Angel, Mittelt, disappeared in front of their eyes.

"Mittelt!"

Raynare called for the younger one of the Fallen Angels before it was the male fallen's turn to disappear.

"Dohnaseek! Damn you!"

With rage in her eyes, she conjures light energy in her hands before sending it out in a wave, trying to catch the human, but nothing.

"Show yourself, you human coward!"

She said with a hint of fear in her tone as suddenly she heard Kalawarner yell a "You — !" before disappearing.

Then the massacre happened.

"AHHHH!!!"

"NO! GET AWAY!"

"HELP ME!"

"MY ARMS! OH, SHI — ARGHHHHH!!!"

"M-MONSTER — !"

"OH, GOD!"

One by one, in a flash, the exorcists started dying from slash wounds that decapitated or outright cleaved through entire bodies in a single swing.

"Fuck this shit!"

Freed, who noticed it the moment one of his kin died, dipped out instantly by throwing a flash bang on the ground.

Frightened, she launches to the sky, ignoring the cries of help from the exorcists below her before trying to find the human when her eyes spotted the excommunicated nun with the Twilight Healing near the church.

That was her chance!

With her fastest speed, she descended to the ground, with the nun staring in shock at the sudden appearance of the Fallen Angel. With a lunge, she grabs onto the girl's neck before yelling out.

"Show yourself, you human scum! Or else she gets it!"

"M-Miss R-Raynare...!"

Asia chokes from the grip as the Raynare tightens.

"I'll do it, so show yourself!"

"Ackk... Mr. Si-in... H-Help me..."

Suddenly, from the woods, a blast of fire shot out at her head, which she dodged by flying to the side as the human walked out, holding onto... What in the world?

He was holding onto a sword in red. The whole sword as almost as long as half his body, and from what she saw, the blade was concealed by housing case that covered almost the whole sword, except for a section near the handle where she could visibly see the white edge of the blade.

"Let her go."

He ordered with fury in his tone, the gear on his eyepatch glowing brighter as he dropped something that he was holding, which revealed to be black feathers.

He pointed the sword at her, to which she snarked.

"Or else you'll meet your kin."

"Not a chance, you human!"

With a free hand, she tossed a light spear as he deflects it without any effort at all. Crouching slightly, he raised his off hand as the mantle that was on the nun, with a sudden mind of it's own, shot out and slashed the hand holding onto her hostage.

Sin Kiske POV

"ARGH!!!!"

With the mantle covering her, Asia floated into the Sin's hands with Junkyard Dog stabbing itself into the ground to free up his hand.

"I'm really sorry for all this..."

He could see that she was shaken up from the blood, as she shook her head.

"N-No... Thank y-you..."

She whimpers as she gets closer, leaning on his chest as she grips hardly on his hand that was holding hers, as if she was holding onto a lifeline.

"Y-YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS, YOU EVIL SCUM!"

Raynare roared as she created, who would have guessed it, another light spear before tossing it towards them. Mentally signalling it, the mantle floated between them before exposing it's interior, absorbing the ight spear as it dissipated.

"W-What?!"

He tried to let Asia down so that he could end Raynare, but she started to have a panic attack when he was about to let go of her, causing him to sigh in exhaustion as he seemed to have accidentally traumatised the poor girl.

"So much for protecting her innocence..."

He would blame himself later, he had to end the life of the Fallen Angel and bring Asia to safety first.

So, he walked towards the fallen carryin Asia in one hand (Ignoring the softness of her butt) and dragging Junkyard Dog MK III through the ground as Raynare started to look at him with fear.

"S-Stay away!"

She started tossing more spears,but he deflected everything, the surrounding trees exploding from contact with the spears.

When Raynare tried to run away by using her wings, he holds onto Asia tight as he swung Junkyard Dog with infused fire magic, sending a long range arc of flames that slashes away at her wings, separating them as she cried out in pain.

She falls to the ground as she curls up in a fetal position, crying in pain as she glared at Sin.

"T-This power — A high-class?! Wait, This energy — You're not human?! W-What the fuck are you?!"

She shrieked as she pounced on him with her claws like a primal dog that choose fight instead of flight...

STAB!

But got impaled in the stomach with Junkyard Dog.

"Cough!"

She spits out blood as Sin rasied her up to the sky with the sword, he stares in her eyes before replying to her question.

"That's for me to keep, now die."

VMMMMMM...

Fire energy started to exhaust out from the handle, converging and concentrating before Junkyard Dog bursted into flames, burning and melting Raynare alive.

BURNNNNN!!!

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

By the time Junkyard Dog finished burning, there was nothing but ashes remaining for Raynare's body. Swinging it to get rid of any residue of the fallen, he  presses a button near the handle, letting it go as it starts to float by its own along with Asuka R#'s mantle.

Holding onto Asia's body with both hands, they looked at each other.

"Are you alright?"

He asked with a gentle voice as Asia breaths out shakily before nodding, tears starting to pool her eyes. Wiping them away, Sin turned away from the ashes of Raynare as he took slow footsteps away.

Covering them both with Gear energy, he starts walking back home.

Asia heart's starts beating fast as she leaned closer to his chest, feeling safe before sleeping to the heartbeat of her savior, her guardian angel.

A/N:

Can I just say? I love Asia.

From her caring nature to her design in general, she's one of my most favourite waifu's in anime history, maybe even my most favourite.

So, yeah, Issei doesn't deserve to breath the same air as her, so fuck Issei, Sin's gonna romance Asia. And whoever hates on MC romancing Asia, then fuck you (I'm joking), I love her too much to care.

Issei can get all the other girls, but not Asia.
