Captain Marvel has joined the MCU!!! I really enjoyed this movie. We got to take a little journey back in time to when Thanos wasn't on anyone's radar. The *snap* was decades away and Captain Marvel was the craziest super-hero that Earth had ever seen. This is the last movie before we watch Avengers: Endgame together. The countdown officially begins now!

I noticed that no one talked about the Stan Lee cameos in the opening studio logo. Stan Lee had passed away before this movie came out, so they changed the opening to feature all his cameos. :(

I've never been a huge fan of this movie, but I admit it's partially because I still wish Katee Sackhoff had gotten the role of Carol instead of Brie Larson. And yes, I know if Katee had gotten it there would've been endless comparisons to her portrayal of Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica, but I still think she would've crushed it as Carol. All that aside, it's still towards the bottom of my MCU rankings, though given their recent run of mostly "meh" movies, Captain Marvel's been looking a bit better by comparison. It was fun seeing a young Phil Coulson even if the digital de-aging they did on him looked terrible at times. VERY much looking forward to your Endgame reaction, it really is amazing how they managed to stick the landing on a ten-year story.
