What is happening in Phase 4 of the MCU!? I thought I understood how the Marvel universe worked and now I find out the TVA exists! WHAT!? 

Here's hoping that Loki makes it through this unscathed.

I adore Tom Hiddleston's performance during the "therapy" scenes, especially when he's in the room alone looking at his yet-to-be-experienced future and just going through so many complicated emotions without saying a word, just using his facial expressions and tears. I feel like he hasn't had too many opportunities to show off his range and also his love and understanding of the character he's portrayed for so many years now. The acting, along with the writing, music, set design, costume design, color grading, editing, and cinematography, are all some of my favorites in the MCU, and it remains consistent throughout the series! I'm super excited for you to watch the rest because after this show is where I personally paused my MCU journey and I'm ready to continue! It's so wonderful seeing your positive reactions to not only the contents of the show, but the various film-making behind the scenes aspects. Bring on episode 2!

One of my favorite things about this sci-fi crime thriller show overall is that Tom Hiddleston himself is an executive producer. He’s exploring this character with the rest of us, and that in itself is a glorious purpose. Going into this back in June 2021, my biggest concern with this show was the initial character development. What I mean is that Loki had solidified himself as both a hero and an Avenger when he attempted to kill Thanos himself at the beginning of Infinity War. All that development was up and gone when Thanos killed him, but this alternate incarnation of Loki was able to see how his life was supposed to play out.

I was worried that all the character development would be undone as well. It's been fun to see Loki become aware of his life path, while choosing a different one.
