Sorry I've been procrastinating.. I've been dabbling with 3d lately

I wanted to allocate some time once every few days, to practice/learn 3D or game dev, where I spend maybe half my drawing time on it instead of a full day of drawing. It seems I've gotten a bit too engrossed with sculpting this(pic) and some other stuff for the past few days, and didn't draw at all xD

I don't know if anything will come out of this, but for now I'm just trying to take it slow and try and go as far as I can with my current knowledge, fail, and then learn from a proper course/tutorial.

This started from my temptation to make more Live2D-style animations, but their drawbacks simply make the idea too unattractive. This style of animation is time consuming and inherently restrictive as the breadth of the animation is tied to the drawn pose; meaning you'd have to do everything over again for a different pose.

Conversely, 3D models, which may initially be equally or more tedious to create, provides much more flexibility and reusability once you've made the model and rigged it.

For now, I'll keep it as a side project/learning journey, there's still a lot to figure out, both artistically and the technical stuff. Of course, this is just all talk, I might just fail really hard and you'll never hear anything of this from me again, but if I ever find success with it, there's always the potential of creating spicy content with them~

--Update--

So for what's left of this month, I am still working on Xianyun and Black Swan but the sets will be split, I will do one small set for each first and then the rest in no particular order.

I do have pretty much half of XY set done so it should be ready fairly soon.
