Chrono Cross could have been a great classic but suffered from many flaws. Shit pacing, boring combat, lots of useless character, convoluted plot, you name it. But the character design is topnotch which make it more painful most of them are not utilized well at all. Korcha here(the dude) for example, is a shit tier character and you got him from story route that are supposed to make sense(safe Kid) while the other route you choose to be selfish asshole and you get the best character in the game :/
