Vindico Bay - Prologue (Patreon)
Content
Howdy folks, I just wanted to drop a quick update for you! As some of you may have noticed, the last few days have been mostly one story days (I apologise!). The reason for this was number 1, strep throat 🥲 and number 2, this story!
I've had this in the works for a while, but wanted to properly plan it out and build up some great characters that I hope you all love as much as I do! I plan to have something for everyone in this, so whilst you can expect the usual hot, horny, straight college aged guys, you can also expect plenty of romance, fetish, kink and in some cases, brutal treatment too! (Warnings will be in place if/when required)
Don't worry about other current series and short stories, they will continue to be written in the usual fashion. Let me know below if you're as excited about this as I am!
This will be a Patreon exclusive story, but this prologue will also be shared to Reddit.
All characters are 18+
"It's an interesting concept, Franklin" a bulbous, middle aged man said as he sat at the head of the long table. "But it's entirely unrealistic".
"With all due respect, Prime Minister" a third man, wearing a crisp general's uniform adorned with countless chevrons and emblems said. "But at the rate we're currently going at, it's only a matter of time before we lose the confidence of the people. Something must be done".
"Oh I agree, Edward" the Prime Minister said seriously "but what is being suggested is not only an enormous breach of human rights, but it is enough to have us all dragged before the court of Human Rights".
A silence fell as the three men considered their options. The large window behind them glared down upon the bustling city, though it was far less busy at this hour of the morning.
"We're rapidly running out of space" Franklin sighed, a vein now bulging in his temple. "I give it another six months before we've reached capacity".
"All well and good, Franklin, but it is your responsibility to ensure that that doesn't happen" the Prime Minister explained.
"So you're willing to point the finger, Andrew, but you're not willing to work toward a resolution".
The Prime Minister's eyes narrowed. He didn't like being challenged, least of all by Franklin Copple. The suggestion was a total non-runner, and the fact that he had even been suggested in the first place, was cause for concern to say the least.
What the Prime Minister didn't know however, was that at that exact moment across the world, Head's of State were all having the exact same conversation, with many agreeing that the idea was at least plausible.
"Let's take it to a vote" General Edward Miller shrugged "I see no reason to deny the people of this country a voice in this".
"The people" the Prime Minister growled "are as blood thirsty as we have made them! You know as well as I do, Edward, they'd bring back public executions given the choice!"
"Perhaps it's not a bad idea" Franklin smirked, though now he was simply stoking the fire.
"What evidence is there that such treatment works?" The leader asked, exhausted from this back and forth argument that had now run into the early morning. "You say that everyone would benefit from this extreme brutality, but what about the young men who we'd be sending there?"
"Extreme brutality is a bit of an exaggeration, Prime Minister" Franklin scoffed "but I'd pose the same question to you about prison".
The Prime Minister cocked a brow as he surveyed the army general.
"Well" the man continued, "the rate of reoffending is higher now than it has been in the country's history. We're seeing young boys in the prison system for crimes like petty theft who are released and return a month later for murder. We're seeing repeat offenders who want to be locked up because it's safer inside than it is out. Prison is no longer a deterrent, Prime Minister, it's a safe haven, it's a school, it's a fucking holiday!"
The man slammed his fist onto the desk as Edward interrupted.
"In another month we'll be forced to release inmates who are a danger to society, and we'll be doing it because we simply don't have the room nor the resources to keep them. We will be knowingly putting the general public in danger and if that happens, you can kiss goodbye to any hope you have of reelection".
The plump man was beginning to sweat now. The seriousness of the issue had been rather lost on him over the last number of years. It had always been a topic that he expected someone else to deal with, but he couldn't ignore it any longer.
"So we ship these offenders off? Let them be someone else's problem?" He asked, still sounding sceptical. "Not only that, but we do so with the knowledge that they'll be treated worse than vermin?"
"The goal, Prime Minister" Franklin said, slightly calmer now "is not to overrun these facilities with hardened criminals. The goal, is to deter people from committing the crimes in the first place. We're not sending murderers or rapists, we're sending young, impressionable teenagers so that if... I mean, when they return, not only will they be completely reformed, but they'll serve as a warning to any other young man who might consider going down the same path".
"And the age of these boys, Franklin?" The Prime Minister asked.
"Adults, of course, sir" the man said "the youngest inmates will be eighteen, the oldest, twenty-one. Studies show that this is the demographic with the most problems".
"It sounds like a concentration camp" the Prime Minister sighed, rubbing his head "I'm going to need some time to think this over".
"Of course, sir" Edward nodded.
"And the location of this prison?" The man asked without looking up from his hands.
"Deep in the South Atlantic sir" Franklin explained "outside any jurisdiction".
"Great" the man scoffed "so not only will we be complicit in degrading these lads to the brink of death, but we'll be burning them alive, too".
An awkward silence fell for a moment until Edward spoke again.
"Deeper again, sir" he mumbled "the island is rather... Cold".
The Prime Minister looked as though he could take no more. He stood up, pushed his chair in and walked toward the door, just as the blue morning light began to pour into the large office.
"I will make my decision tomorrow" he told the two suited men, "this is something that must be considered thoroughly".
"Absolutely, Prime Minister" Edward nodded and they watched as the stressed out man left the room.
"Draft the order, Franklin" Edward said instantly, standing up and walking to the large window as the traffic below began to build. "I want a copy of it on every judge's desk by nine".
"Is that such a good idea, sir? The Prime Minister will want to to be the final voice in the matter".
"The consensus has been unanimous across the globe, Franklin" the uniformed man said "the Prime Minister will be dead by time that traffic clears below".
