Life has a way of piling on shit when you're down and trying to get back up. I found out an old friend committed suicide yesterday. He was only 36 and was suffering from chronic athritis and apparently no insurance company would help pay for pain medication. He was a smart and sensitive person. It hurts to think I'll never have a new converstation with him. 

I also need to inform you that I'll be going through two rounds of chemotherapy starting next month. I've been dreading telling you all this because it sucks to hear and I don't like saying it. Luckily it'll only be 6 weeks of hell and then I should be cancer free from here on out.

Tomorrow I'll pull up my boot straps and knock some work out. Right now I just need to rest my head. There's just too much to think about.
