-Hi everyone just keeping you all up to date on what's going on with the vids.

-I am just doing a quick update to remind you all that this week I am building a new computer. Now that I am using VAM or Virt-A-Mate as the new video animation program. I have run into a few issues.

-Vam is much more reliant on using the CPU to render out the animations than my old system of using TK17. TK17 despite all of the modifications was still a game from 2008. So it was extremely easy to run but had a ton of limitations due to the older system. VAM however is a physics-based system. Meaning that there are a lot of calculations that are involved to get that perfect bounce and shake.

-So I decided to ditch my old x299 CPU and upgrade. With the upgrade, I am hoping to get enough FPS that I can get back to having more than just two characters on the screen at one time. I can also get back to having the characters move around and interact with the environment.

-With that said. I wanted to let you all know that the website links are now up and ready to view. I am still shadowbanned from Xvids as it still will not let me make comments and It will not let me post a vid.

Since this bitch is wearing a Cowboys shirt I give this video a thumbs down.

Loved Enthralled. It was also kool to see how you applied the fluids test to the vid. The Cowboys shirt cracked me up. That’s awesome you’re getting hopefully a better system for you. Does this mean we might finally start getting more group/poly full lenth scenes in the future?

Love this shit, we appreciate your work!

Vam needs high single core. Like the new 12th gen Intel's.. I love how fast they are.. cpuZ single core I get 800pt at 5ghz. Impressive.. my old 8700K was 550pt at 5ghz..

Dreaming about that hold 1 and 2 remake and the new hold 3

Wow 128gb eh! Never ran past 32gb. Interesting to see. I might suggest if it fails 64 GB is alot man! Just having the 64 might sufficient and can sell the other kit to recoup some costs I read the ddr5 is a bit funny.. compatibility Maybe the 128 will be ok Just check your motherboard QVL list for ram. Typical Asus boards in my experience have best ddr4 compatibility. Corsair seems best for most mobos. Not liking gskill these days Might even suggest to keep that other 64gb kit for a few weeks. Usually bios mature and more ram support

I might also suggest downloading process lasso. You can configure program affinity to make sure when ever any game or app launch you can tell it to ignore the e-cores

One otherthing I am unsure if you use it. There is a plugin for VaM where it will export to a movie file frame by frame.. instead of your computer not doing 60fps as vam is not optimised so well for multicore. The plugin will export at what fps to make a 60fps video output.. Say U have a very intense scene and PC won't do more then 25fps well the plugin will capture and export a 60fps video. I forget much of the details but it's how alot of people export really fluid smooth video clips :)

Hi Opticon Studios Thank you for all of your advice. I have been running 128GB with my current build for a long time and the only time I ever get close to using more than 64GB is when I am editing in Adobe Premiere. I have seen Adobe suck down 72GB from all of the color grading and effects that I add to these vids. I also use obs in the indistinguishable setting so the video sizes get extremely large.

Love_Wolf_Vids

I didn't know about the Vam plug-in as a lot of the mods are buried on the site as well as the VAM hub. So I will look for that real soon. So far it seems like with my current build I am able to get 40-50 fps with two characters and 6 lights on max settings. So I am hoping with the newer CPU to get that but to be able to add in one more character. I am also using the plugin called "give me FPS" To eliminate unnecessary physics animations one at a time.

Hi Loyalgod I have a pinned post for you that has all of the current links where I post my vids. But here is the direct link to the 1440p gallery https://bit.ly/3r16sbu

Your the best thx

I find you can improve fps alot by adjusting the hair and clothing physics. By going to the items the character are wearing and the hair. Customise Lots of setting to experiment with some are physics quality etc.. Can make clothing rigid and gains alot of fps.

did you decide to go with an AMD or Intel cpu upgrade?

Love_Wolf_Vids

Yes, That is very true. I found a plug-in called "give me FPS" which is the very thing that they target to make it run faster. Sometimes it doesn't make too big of a difference and other times you have to tweak the scene from there.

Love_Wolf_Vids

I decided to go with Intel Alarick. I was waiting on the threadripper line to update but AMD said that they would focus on the commercial released first. Then Intel came out of nowhere with some decent CPUs. So I decided to wait for reviews and news on threadripper and AMD posted about the threadripper pro line not being available for individual sale. So that is when I decided to pick up an Intel chip.

Love_Wolf_Vids

I have been running an intel X299 setup for a really long time so it will be a substantial upgrade for me.

IPC on 12gen CPU is insane I own a few PC 2x 12600KF (both 1080ti) 1x 5900X (4x 1070GTX) cpuZ 12600KF at 5ghz 800pts 5900x is about 650pts 8/9gen Intel 5ghz 580-600pts The 12gen very quick
