Thanks for the update man! You’ve got a lot on your plate, and yet you continue to put out great content and a consistently positive message to your viewers. That’s so appreciated! Oh really glad to hear that! I'm a pretty critical guy at times so I think it's important that people understand I do it because I care and I'm not just trying to be mean or something like that so glad to hear that it does indeed come across :)

Honestly, I am surprised at the amount of content and the quality you put out given family and your job which no doubt eats a ton of time. I can definitely relate to the term 'tech debt'...I see that on a regular basis hah.

haha yeah I think it's fairly normal, but we mention it every retrospective anyway :D I enjoy making the videos as I know they are helpful for people and I find that INCREADIBLY rewarding :)

Not sure how much video editing youll want to do at Gen Con but what about remoting into your desktop at home from the laptop you have to do all the editing. You may have to start the file upload to the desktop before going to sleep or the con and it should be finished after waking up/coming back to the hotel. Just an idea.

That's a very good idea! Might be what I need to do, especially for upload. I'm sure the upload speed in a hotel isn't the 1Gb I pay for at home (makes a world of difference!) Only issue I can really see is how to get the raw recorded video to my PC at home. TBH that might be a showstopper as that's easily 70GB I'd have to send over before I could even edit. TBH I need an upgrade regardless. Now that I edit in 4k my CPU has panic attacks and now that I open up a ton of Chrome tabs to do my news videos my 16GB of ram just isn't cutting it lol. Ram's an easy upgrade, CPU not so much as I'd need a new MOBO as well. So perhaps a laptop (which I only have a work laptop available right now) since being able to edit wherever will pay off in the long run. It'd be nice to pull notes up on during a review for instance and actually be visible while I record (currently use my phone and have to edit out the parts I look at it) :D
