All right, poll time. I've been hearing people say that they really didn't like how El Presidente keeps referring to himself in the third person. I thought it was a fun character trait, but if too many people find it grating, then maybe I should look at it. Changing this now will be a big job, but I'd rather do it now than later. So this month's poll question is...

"Should El Presidente" keep referring to himself in the third person?

I'd leave it as is. It really sums up what an ego he has. Plus, at a suitably dramatic moment if he switches to a much simpler "I", that's shorthand for "things just got real." You know, like if someone notices he's going, "Leave this to me," instead of "Let El Presidente handle this."

You could keep it in the beginning and during one of the moments where the character further develops/matures he stops. Or have one of the other characters call him out on it eventually. Just some thoughts so you don't have to change the entire dialogue.

Yep, "fun character trait" is what I was thinking too when I first played this. Keep it up, the game is great - and El Presidente referring to himself in that manner makes it (even more) unique!

This is part of his character, to change this now, is changing his character too. Please let him still speak with some Spanish words too. Your team created him like this and to change this now, should be very disappointing to many fans of this game.

I find him funny when he does that
