And here is the Patron only poll winner! Once more, due to bringing back Death’s Avenger and Heroes of the High Seas, I did not use the carry over rule. It would have been silly. So it is a straight up weighted poll.

Making Waves, astonishingly, came in last place with 1,185 votes. I’m actually pleased there aren’t that many fans who just straight up vote for Ranma, although I am astonished it didn’t draw many votes simply because it’s closest to completion.

In third place, King of Champions, with 1,221 votes. Hmm… nothing to say here, really.

But it was kind of surprising to see how close the bottom three stories were… when I added in my own 400 votes, anyway. Heroes of the High Seascame in second, but with 1,258 votes.

So once more, the fic that has been dead but was extremely popular when it was alive wins again. Wow. I, again I thought that the dead fic, like FILFy would have lost fans given how long it’s been. I admit to be wrong. To the tune of Death’s Avenger winning by a landslide, 2,197.

Hmmm, disappointing, given that I'd have loved to see Heroes of the High Seas. Ah well, I enjoy Death's Avenger. I'm also not surprised at it winning, really. Even today, WoW has a daily login of a couple million unique players. And a total active population count in the tens of millions. Given that it, at one time, had well over 100 million...biiiiigggggg fanbase your tapping into. Much larger than for individual anime like MHA or even Ranma. I'm also not surprised Making Waves sort of tanked. I'm not sure if you're really aware of this...but I don't think anyone has any idea where you're actually going with that story. (I know I don't) I mean, you sent most of the focus-characters off for a multi-year training journey, which is usually the sort of thing you do mid-story (One Piece, Naruto, etc), only to then claim you're almost done with it? I honestly don't have a clue where you're headed with it, and watching them do all that training montage jazz just to have the story end just feels...blah. Why should we care that X character got Y new move, if they got it one or two episodes before the climax of the series? And had to spend a novel length amount of words to get it...

MMM... maybe on Making Waves? Like, I can see your point, but this wasn't a Let's get strong to fight all comers type trip. This was a lets get strong to FUCK THAT BIG BLACK DRAGON UP SON type trip. Specific goal. That it will make them so much stronger than they were in total is just a bonus.

Sure. But...then what. All that prep, probably 100,000+ words of drawn out training arch. Then they beat the bad guy and...game over? For a comparison, it's as if One Piece has done it's time skip, come back for a single fight against, say, Kaido, then the Anime ended.
