Where are we now? Fic Sitrep. (Patreon)

Okay guys, as promised, here is the post about where all my fics are in terms of how close to completion/length. To help out, I have broken this down into categories.

1. I have seen the light! Stories whose end I can see

Horse For the Force: 6 chapters, maybe as little as 4.  Not a fix everything fic so it won’t keep going after a certain point.

Semblance of hope: 4, 5 episodes, the equivalent of two and a half chapters. Yes, it’s that close. I could write more, but frankly, outside of the relationships, I feel Like I didn’t do RWBY justice in this fic. I want to finish it, and move on.

A Third Path to the Future­: The oldest still ongoing story I have, it is 4 chapters away from completion. That is, 1 transition/recovery chapter, 1 ARC, and an epilogue.

FIlfy Teacher: This will come as a surprise, but I can see this going for about 7 chapters or so more. This is a bit closer to a fix-everything fic than any of the others, but I can see the end of the fic coming. 1 recovery chapter, 2 ARCS, epilogue.  Uncertain at this point if there will need to be rest and recovery chapters after the next ARC.

The only other fic whose ending I can see being close is Making Waves, but as that is on-hold until Justlovereadin’ returns, the fact it is within 3 ARCs of completion doesn’t matter much.

2. We’ve Come a long way, but we’ve got a long way to go yet. Stories that are pretty far along, but aren’t close to being done.

Magic of the Force: 18+ chapters to go. We’re about a third of the way through. I would say sixteen chapters of the Clone Wars. Whether or not that ends with Sidious dying or fleeing and more I cannot say at this point.

Sword, Bow and Horse: a story that has been on hold for a while, I would say it has about another 10 chapters left in it. Maybe 12. I am using more time skips here than normal so I can speed up events and other things.

Fate Touched in Middle Earth: hmmm… I would say 20 more chapters? Hard to tell despite the events of the Hobbit being done with the next chapter. I should know more after the romance arc – which should be two or three chapters long and will begin when Harry and Tauriel meet up again.

Stallion of the line: …. I am just gonna leave a huge ???????? here. Sorry folks, I could say how many chapters it would be before the crew gets to the new world, but after that… heh.

3. We’ve only just begun!!! Fics that are still in their early phases.

Climbing Together: - duh. It won’t be a long fic, I don’t think. Think a few chapters longer than Anything Goes Game Changer, but it is still VERY early to say more than that.

King of Champions:  Er… yeah. No. Can’t even guess. I only want it to be better written than Semblance. So long as that remains a fact, I will be happy.

Bhaalson Remodel: Despite how far we’ve come, we still have a long way to go. Harry and Imoen need to level up a lot, and I fully intend for Harry at least to be on a real Demigod scale by the end of this fic.

Death’s Avenger: I have several thousand years of fic time before the events of the first Warcraft Game. Nuff Said. This fic will return when ATP is finished.

4. I will return: fics I may take up again at some point.

Either Effect of a Horse and A Dragon, or A herd In Space. Maybe after A Horse for the Force is done?

Gods and Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My. Definitely. I will come back to this fic when FILFy is done.

The Homage Choose your own Adventure fic. – Eh, I realize I kind of added a lot of complications, but I also really like the Henrietta/Ranma romance. And having an OP Ranma to play with is also fun.

5. You can’t just tease me like this?!  One shot ideas I would love to get to/put up for voting in the future.

Heroes of the High Seas. DUH. I would seriously like to use the My Hero Academia characters. Even more now given how much dung the original hides under it’s neat character/powers.

Any of my Kuroinu crossover ideas. I would soooo enjoy writing fics whose purpose is simply to jump up and down on the crotches of a whole army of rapists.

A Journey Gone Astray – my Ranma/DC crossover. Again I would love to come back to this, and depending on when it is and other projects, I may put it up for voting after ATP and Semblance are finished.

In other news, tried to upload my first Bhaalson Remodel chapter to A03. Didn’t work. Too large for the website? BS. Think it’s something on my end, will try to figure it out.
