December plans2021 (Patreon)

Hey all. So, besides having announced that ATP will be updated in December, there needs to be a decision made on what the rest of the month will look like. The chapter will be somewhere around 25-30,000 words… I think. Don’t ever bet on me keeping to an exact number of words. Anyway, with the first story for December out of the way, and with the decision to take a break from FILFY, I have decided on a format for my priorities going forward.

Now I know I said I wouldn’t come out with new teaser chapter’s for a while, but then my muse has decided that you know what, I don’t get a vote on that LOL. Hence the work on the Ranma and Harry Potter versions of a Kuroinu crossover that I shared. (And if you are interested in HP and haven’t yet seen the changes I made to that one, go and check it out. Hopefully, it will show up in red… {WAH, it didn’t})

NOTE!!! This is me just informing you all of the various polls. There will only be one poll posted at this point, and it will be posted in a separate poll tomorrow!

So the format going forward will be a small story Ranma poll. The choices of this will be:

1. Semblance of Hope. It will be a full chapter, which will let me put the whole Spartoi campaign in one chapter and will be posted here on Patreon. I will put together a few episodes into one chapter to post over on Fanfic.

2. Stallion of the Line: Given the fact we’re going to be into the Thriller Bark arc, I don’t want t step away just yet. Because let's face it, well… name ten fics that start at the beginning of One Piece and get this far. Go on. Name them.

3. Making Waves: As usual with this work, the chapter will be posted here as a full-size chapter. If it wins I might post a chapter of it over on fanfic, but we would have to see.

4. The shampoo/Ranma crossover with Fatal FuryI thought up way back. This is the first of my concept ideas I would be including in these polls. One of my many muses has decided this is a fic worth a teaser chapter. To find the outline, please check out: https://www.patreon.com/posts/ranma-mha-story-23186868

A small story Harry poll. the choices for this will be:

1. More work on the Kuroinu concept chapter.  I would go back, write up the full Harry portions as mentioned, and then take the story to the time where Harry and Hermione are transported to Eostia. This way you all would get a large story chapter, but I wouldn’t have to work on more than a small story segment of it LOL.

2. Fate Touched in Middle Earth. I said it would be back this month, and it is. Like Stallion above, if this fic wins, I’ll post it over onto the fanfic.

3. Bhaalson Remodel. I’m torn here. Once more, this fic is the weak fic in the normal patron-only poll. So I would like to see it updated, but… not as much as Fate. I’m honestly uncertain how I would vote in this poll.

4. A Name to Conjure with. My muse would like to do something with Roman leanings, and this fic is the closest fic that could let me do so.

Death’s Avenger is not on here. I know if I put that up the others won’t have any chance to win LOL. Mind you, if I don’t finish an Episode worthy of the name before the end of November, I’ll work on it into December.

And REPLACING the Patron-only poll for obvious reasons will be….

1. Heroes of the High Seas. My muse is very adamant that I get into My Hero Academia. And let’s face it guys, it’s been years since I posted the prologue and chapter 1 of this work. 4. Horse for the Force. It’s been so freaking long, it has to be up here guys. It won’t be a large chapter, but it would still let me do a lot of the stuff I want to in one chapter. Honestly, I’d probably only cut out a bit of the getting to know you stuff with Scout and some romance to pair it down to medium-sized. And if it wins, maybe, just maybe my My Hero Academia muse will finally realize it needs to wait its fricking turn and stop horning in on my waking thoughts!

This last is the one that’s going to be posted tomorrow, barring an overwhelmingly negative response from all of you. The others will be posted on December 1st when work on ATP starts.

And for those wondering, the normal small story/large/patron-only polls will be back in January. Magic will be part of that as will Horse of the Force. I might put them both in as an SW-only large story poll, depending on if I want to keep working on ATP.

So, tell me what you think about this guys, and if you think this is all too confusing and I need to have a stern talk with my muses about only letting them out of their kennels on command, tell me that too LOL. And yes, I fully expect that the already established stories will have a leg up on their opposition.  But you never know, ya know? And at least in the last one at least my MHA muse will have been fed a bit LOL.
