Howdy all, here, two days late, is the final tally of the small story poll and a sitrep. Sorry, RL took me away from my computer, had almost finished going through the votes and forgot to take it with me or save it to my cloud. And counting votes is not the kind of thing you want to do over.

But first, a Sitrep. I have been forced to once more split the FILFy chapter. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t have been able to get it out to my editors - who have it now - and I think the last 20,000 words of it were not up to my normal standard.  This way I also won’t have to end it on a cliffhanger. Or at least not as nasty a cliffhanger. And I will have time to do the winner of the small story poll. Considering this still left a chapter of 38,000 words, I don’t think any of you will feel short-changed LOL.

I have decided because I will post the rest of the FILFy chapter next month, that I will have two small story polls along with the patron-only poll next month. That way you will get three smallish stories and the Patron-only works, whose size I have only a concept of at this point. I’ll be posting the patron-only poll for November tomorrow.

With that said, on to the poll results.

In last place, with a truly sorry showing, is Horse for the Force, with only 530 votes. 48 came from fanfic. Ouchie.

In third place was its fellow SW fic, Magic of the Force, with 1,199. It brought in a decent 119 of those votes from fanfic.

In second place, and an extremely close one is… Fate Touched in Middle Earth! Winning over on fanfic with 139, it brought in a total of 2,245!

This means the winner is Stallion of the Line!! It brought in 94 from fanfic but a whopping total of 2,357!!

And for those of you who might wonder, no I didn’t participate this time. Next month I might, but only to keep the Ranma/HP balance. This was one of the best showings in terms of how many of you voted in this poll, and I want to thank everyone who did so.

As a big, big fan of both SW fics, the results are disappointing, but it's great news that so many people voted.
