Good night guys, but don’t go to sleep just yet, if you’re still awake at least. Otherwise, stay asleep Ha.

Now that my questionable sense of humor has had a bite, it is time to end the small story poll, and to also, after far too long, address the latest round of questions. I will be doing this a bit differently though, so those of you just interested in the poll can see the winner and those of you who want to see my… heh.. stream of thought on the questions I Posed to you all this last time can read on after that.

Before this however, I will torture you all with a single public announcement that has nothing to do with the small story poll. I mentioned this in the Notes prior to the MW chapter, but am doing so here as well, since many of my HP fans, I know, don’t bother to even look at MWLOL.  So, for FILFy, due to the fact my time on task this month has been really hammered due to RL reasons - ADHD and a itchy head and pain do not go well together- I will not have FILFy finished with enough time for my editors (either of them) to look at it before posting. I’m looking to finish it Wednesday Grammarly and all, but considering how important the chapter is, I am not willing to post it on fanfic without being edited. If, however, enough people here on fanfic say they would like to see the imperfect chapter, I may post it here at the end of the month.

Now onto the poll.

1,022 Once more last place goes to GDWHOM. Even if I through my full 600 votes behind it, it would still lose. A measly 55 over on fanfic is just icing on the cake. So it will be joining Horse next month in the UPDATE ME! poll.

In third place, astonishingly, is ATP! It only brought in 1,251 votes, 126 of which came from fanfic. Wow. Just… astonishing.

At 1,833 Stallion of the Line brought in the silver this time, not the gold, with a measly 89 votes over on fanfic.

So obviously, the winner was Fate Touched in Middle Earth, bringing in 2,122. Even without the 134 votes from Fanfic, it would have won. Which is a good thing considering there’s no way I’d be able to finish the chapter and get it to an editor this time, and this story doesn’t have a dedicated editor so I can get it posted faster.

With that out of the way, I want to once more thank everyone who posted a response to my last questions post. As usual, I will split up my replies like I did the initial questions.

FILFy:

1.  This question was badly worded on my part. What I should have asked was would it be interesting to see her need to have a Blessing from Harry in order to do it, thus tying her to him and the Potter-Gremory clan, maybe even as a love interest. But frankly, since everyone thought she should get them back, I’ll go with that route. And then I will let her get some vengeance on Nefertiti, maybe even be there at the killing. As for her becoming a love interest, no. That ship has sailed. She might get with someone else in the clan though…

2. I received one PM on this one. We will see where it goes.

3. This one several people gave me really good ideas on, a preview scene, then skipping straight to the aftermath being one of them. I quite like that idea, but I will be shifting it around quite a bit.

Fate touched.

1. Thranduil seems to have been a very divisive subject, although a few reviewers mentioned things about his past I hadn’t known – the death of his wife, and the fact the jewelry had been meant as a memento. This doesn’t make me forget the fact he’s an asshole in both the book and the movie, but it makes him relatable. So while he might think it, there won’t be any subtle maneuvers to let the dwarves of the humans (or Harry, curse it) take the brunt of the battle.

2. Here, I was very happy to see that most people had faith that I would explore Gondor well if I went down that route. The idea of so many OCs still annoy me, but… Chris mentioned something very interesting. That sometime during the time skip, Aragorn was serving in Gondor under an assumed name…So while I won’t spend more than three small chapters doing it, I will cover Rohan, Gondor, and Harry meeting Treebeard during the massive timeskip between the Hobbit and the start of the Fellowship.

Stallion:

1. Oof. Boa split people even more than Thranduil the Bum Bandit! And several people couldn’t quite split the whole romantic aspect from the rest of her. BUT a lot of people still gave me feedback here, and for that I thank each and everyone of you. I am going to show Hancock in the next chapter, and you will all see then how I am going to play her: as someone whose mask has started to take over, but who also knows it, and does care for more than her ego/self, who has a hell of a lot of trouble with men in general for good reason, but who has taken it too far. Not irredeemable, but certainly VERY prickly.

Patron questions:

1.  LOL. Peoples responses to this were amusing, and uplifting but I won’t mention more here.

2. So… everyone agreed that I need to start finishing some stories. So I am going to announce that the episode style updates will end for a while once Semblance of Hope gets to the end point of the Mistral arc.  I will still ATTEMPT to switch off though, so my HP fans can get something here on Patreon.

Beyond that… After August, one way or another, GDWHOM will be taken out of the rotation until FILFy is done. Same goes with Magic after August until ATP is done. I will also be shifting Horse for the Force into the small story poll, and forcing FILFy to fight ATP head on in the Large Story Poll. HP fans…Suffer.  the fact is by chapter if not in workload, both those works are within six or seven chapters of completion.  So it works out.

Oh, and as an aside, I will be posting the Patron Only poll tomorrow to run until next Sunday, as well as the Update Me poll for August. That way, I can work and knock the patron story off the first week of August, and see how the Update Me poll is going before posting either the large or small story polls, with the Update Me poll replacing the either of the other polls depending on which story wins. The second week is the week I won’t have much time to write thanks to Family Time™.

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed my responses in the the thread and here, and have a good weekend.
