May Ranma-only Medium Story Poll (Patreon)

Alright everybody, it is time to post the first medium story poll for May. You read that right folks, first medium story poll. With Bhaalson Remodel being updated, there won’t be a patron only poll in May. Of course, I will also be posting an episode-style update for Semblance of Hope. Every little bit helps towards finishing that story.  But since I will begin working on Making Waves for this month tonight (and be sending it out in pieces to be looked over by me editors) I will be in a Ranma frame of mind to start the month. So this poll will be about the Ranma stories up for updating.

Now, this too is kind of an issue. I had been planning sinceStallion won to make this move – two medium sized story updates instead of a large and small story polls. But the latest chapter of Stallion hasn’t been updated yet, obviously, so only read it's summary if you don't mind spoilers.

The choices for this month are:

Horse for the Force-Ranma/SW crossover: An angered and frustrated Ranma decides to make a statement, inadvertently becoming a music video icon the Republic over while Shaak Ti decides she might have to defend her territory once more. Work on the computer starts to see a few breakthroughs while Tyrannus attempts to gather more ships to attack the system, but find it isn’t easy, the Republic has begun to bounce back elsewhere, despite not having enough ships to do it. More reinforcements arrive, turning Wayland into a fortress. Ranma and Shaak are requested to help break an assault on a Jedi Agri-world, before being recalled in order to learn even more of what Wayland’s computers can tell them. As Sidious finalizes his escape plan, Harch launches an attack and Thrawn arrives, finding he has to prove his abilities to the Republic High Command before being given the command he wishes. Then Ranma and Shaak once more leave Wayland to follow up on a single specific piece of information.  A traitor among the Jedi makes himself known, before Anakin proves that yes, he really is good at electronics, much to the chagrin of the Sith.

Gods and Devils and Horses, Oh My– Ranma/Highschool DxD crossover:While a Very Big Man uses his Very Large Voice in the Vatican, Ranma is subjected to a few more last moments of eye-dropping goodness. Afterward, Ranma and the others head back to Kuoh, where they discover a human cockroach by the name of Happosai has moved in. This causes even more issues when Happosai discovers the extra-human nature of Rias and many of the other devils before an Angel contemplates Falling just to kill a perverted cockroach. Eventually however, Ranma decides to bite the bullet after getting some good advice, has a conversation with his friends. Rias and Saeko butt heads for a bit, while Koneko has her own long-overdue conversation, with someone who is technically a fugitive. This does not go anywhere near where either she or the other participant could ever have foreseen because of truths coming out and Happosai butting in. Meanwhile, Gabriel, after having been thoroughly humiliated, receives a call to come home, makes some promises, and passes on some information. The next day, Ranma receives some news that he sees as excellent, Rias passes on some news and takes some tests, and plans begin to form, and Ranma and Saeko decide to go on a trip to see if they can find a weapon worthy of their new jobs as the first of the government’s anti-magic trouble-shooters.

SPOILERS!!!! BEWARE!!!!

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: With the crew divided due to seeming happenstance, the Straw Hats face their most dangerous foe yet:  enemies who know precisely how dangerous they are and are refusing to underestimate them. Sanji, Franky and the ladies are able to make their extremely expensive purchase and even meet some new possible friends, they come under attack by Kumadori and his team. The fight soon becomes general as the locals get involved there, while elsewhere, Ranma, Laki and the Resolve also face local opposition thanks to Kalifa’s manipulations. When the choice is between causing the death of innocent civilians or retreating, Luffy is forced to retreat, right into the jaws of the Marines. While the Resolve is pinned in place, and Laki and Luffy fight for their lives and the life of their ship, in Water 7, CP9 attacks, looking to capture Robin and kill Zoro. Disregarding their cover identities, a jaguar, a wolf, and a giraffe work together against a Reindeer and a swordsman, pushing Zoro and the young Zoan. Meanwhile, Luffy is forced to fight off several commodores, captains, and galleons all at once, but he has some tricks under his sleeve that even Hina wasn’t aware of. Blood flows in the streets of two islands and the ocean around Water 7, with the lives of the Straw Hats on the line in a fight where even a single mistake can make the difference between life and death for all of them.
