Hello all! It is the 22nd and as it said when i posted the poll in the first place, it is time to end the small story poll for this month.

And as always, first a sitrep: FILFy is done and off to Nad Destroyer for his work.  Sword, Bow, and Horse is about halfway done I think.  I should have it done by Tuesday, maybe?  We'll see.

And now for the results of the poll:

In last place, Semblance of Hope brought in 886.  Harsh guys.  It only brought in 54 votes from fanfic too.

In third place, Gods and Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My. A total of 944, with 118 coming from fanfic.

In second place, A Third Path to the Future.  It brought in 256 votes from fanfic and scored a total of 1964.

It was sunk because in only a week there is no way I would be able to get that chapter out by the end of the month, as I had mentioned previously.  I decided to, as I again had said I might in the large story and patron-only poll results, put down some of my votes this month so that I can have time to do that story justice in the future.   I put in three hundred of my oven votes, which will also allow me to add the remaining three hundred to one of the polls in September.

thus the winner of the poll is Stallion of the Line. it brought in 2050 with my 300 added in, with 130 coming from fanfic.  I will also try to work on Fate touched as well.

Of course with AGGC done, Semblance and Making Waves become the two stories closest to completion... going to have to think about what to do about that.  Since Semblance rarely, if ever does very well in the small story poll. But is it fair to really take out the Small Story Poll every three months in order to push it forward if it isn't popular?  Hmm... Anyway,  thank you all for your continued support, and I hope that you continue to enjoy my stories!

the thing to realize is that because semblance isn't wining the votes doesn't mean it's bad or not popular, just that it's not quite as exceptional as the rest. i greatly enjoy semblance, i just enjoy others more

I think that is a theme yes. Have to wonder also if the single girl for Ranma pairing has anything to do with it.

i'll be honest, while there aren't many completed rwby crossovers, there are a tone of them that are all variations of harems, so i actually enjoyed it more for being a single pairing instead of a harem, which almost feels like the 'standard' for rwby crossovers. it also helps that it was developed very well, i'd actually say that it's one of the stories with the most romantic development worked into it, or possibly it had a harems worth of development worked into a single pairing, either way it felt very natural and enjoyable to read about. i personally care more for how well a romance is developed the how big it is, so most harems aren't fun because they aren't developed, your stories are the exceptions, but i read them because they are good, not because they are harems (mostly) if that makes sense, so having the story be a single pairing is in no way a turn off

That might have a little to do with it. People will always have their favorite characters and want them to end up happy, which is usually with the main character. It's why I have never read a story with that has Hermione paired with Ron and refuse to!

i won't read a hermione/ron story where they are the central characters but i don't mind if it happens offscreen while harry and someone else are busy being main characters

The single girl pairing is not it, I think. The Ranma/Shaak Ti pairing in Horse For the Force is one of your best romances in my opinion (It is also what intruduced me to your works in the first place, and Making waves got me on Patreon ;)). I lean towards the "your other stories are simply more exeptional" option as well. I still very much enjoy it, when it gets an update (how could I not: Redheads RULE :D), but there are others higher up my list. Liiiiiiike... Stallion :D Thanks for the extra votes!!!! Can't wait to see what comes next :D Thank you!!!

LOL I come down somewhere in the middle here. I loathe the Hermione/Ron pairing, but if they are separate and with other people, I'll read the fic, even if I'm a hardcore Harmony fan.
