August Format Question. (Patreon)

Hello to all my patrons! With FILFy off to the first beta-reader and AGGC about halfway done by this point, I decided to start looking ahead while also looking behind. And yes, that sounds very much like something Gandalf would say LOL. At any rate, three points stuck out to me over the last month. 

One, alas, is that I lost several patrons over the last month. Many of whom had been with me for quite a while. For the most part, I think we can put that down to COVID, but I will say again: if you have a problem with how I am or am not using this page, please tell me rather than just walk off into the night. I will always at the least be willing to talk about whatever problem you have, even if I cannot promise to solve the problem, whatever it may be.

Point two: every poll was won by a wide margin by said winners: FILFy Teacher, Making Waves, and Anything Goes Game Changer.    FILFy is a routine winner, so alas for my SW muse, that was pretty obvious. Making Waves over Bhaalson Remodel was also obvious BUT, it makes me wonder. So you will see a poll as to that point soon on the heels of this post.

Connected to this is point 2b basically LOL:  Anything Goes Changer winning over ATP was a massive statement: that being, people want me to finish a story! To that end, I will not only be putting up the next chapter of AGGC by the end of July but I will also publish the next chapter for it next month. That will only leave the Epilogue to do, which I can wipe out in a weekend at worse. To that end, I will not automatically update Bhaalson Remodel next month because doing so would just take away another means with which you, my patrons, can influence what stories I write in August. 

On the heels of that decision, however, is the third point: I grossly underestimated how much time and words segments of both GDWHOM and FILFY took. For different reasons admittedly. Both chapters will not be what I had hoped them to be. I have about a third of the next chapter for GDWHOM done, and about half of FILFy. This tells me personally that in the future I need to allot more time to both.  I think the DxD world begs me to world-build/character build for some reason. BUT because of this, I believe…. That I will have time to do four chapters next month if one of them wins in the polls they will be a part of. That would be two small stories and two medium stories. 

BUT (again) only if I change the polling format. That is, take out the Patron-only poll for the month. Remember that I said Bhaalson Remodel would not be up for updating? So the question becomes, should I instead restart the patron-only rotation, or should I remove the patron-only story poll for the month?

This poll is NOT a  weighted poll and will end on the 30th.
