June2020 Small Story Poll (Patreon)

Okay, so it is a day later than I hoped, but here is the small story poll. I’m sorry guys, but editing via Grammarly is just… so…slow… Ugh. It takes so long and it just saps all my desire to even look at the written word, let alone write anything myself.

Anyway, the choices are between four stories once more. Two Ranma, two HP stories. 

FILFy Teacher – HP/DxD Crossover:  Harry and his friends and family arrive in Ireland for yet another Luna-like meeting, followed by a true Irish welcome before becoming more serious about their search for information on Harry’s powers and whatever has been going on. Linking up the dates of the silver fog sighting and what they were doing at the time, Harry and Yubelluna decide that her Bandrui powers are the key to making headway while elsewhere, Vali is forced to flee as Bikou is forced to answer his ancestor’s questions. After that band of Unspeakables makes asses of themselves but provide a clue, as a certain Fiery bird makes an appearance, and another bird and her brother dog their steps. A ritual takes place, a door is opened, and a very large leap taken into the unknown, where new (if rather old) enemies are faced, new powers discovered, coming with them a very odd set of responsibilities forcing Harry to once more step up to the plate, but this time in a way he might well enjoy. At least in the long run. 

A Fate Touched in Middle Earth – HP/LoTR crossover:  Harry runs into elves who make him realize that they too can be assholes while practicing his own brand of ‘diplomacy’ before relenting and letting the elves lock them up, since hey, “Alohomora plus Invisibility Cloak equals food. Be right back.” Harry and Bilbo go on a few small adventures while making a friend and a frenemy, as the dwarves recover their strength. The two of them then launch a daring escape, only to realize that one size does not fit all, leaving Harry once more bruised and battered, before he and the dwarves once more have troubles of the orcish persuasion. Gandalf arrives in Dol Guldur and starts his investigations while Thorin and company, plus one, have their first glimpse of the Lonely Mountain.

Anything Goes Game Changer – Ranma/Sekirei crossover: While Ranma was capturing two of the three powerful Ashikabi in the city, Akitsu and their other allies were dealing with a issue completely unrelated to the Sekirei Plan of MBI, but that didn’t mean it was any less dangerous, even when the Amazons showed up to offer their aid. And not just to their bodies, but to their souls (and virginities, normal and otherwise-_-). While the others are dealing with being mentally and emotionally scarred despite their victory, Ranma has a talk with Nabiki, Akitsu has a talk with Tsukiumi, which forces several others to intervene before more than words are exchanged. After that, Nabiki and Kodachi and Homura start to plan for the future, making a ‘friend’ on the inside, the Amazons argue, several Sekirei are faced with the wall that is Miya, and Ranma smacks more than one idiot upside the head, before once more realizing that yes, in certain circumstances, his female form is a curse, thanks to Happosai while Minaka decides his next move in the game, to win or lose all.

Gods and Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My – Ranma/DxD crossover: While Ranma and his allies were fighting the Fallen who attempted to attack Kuoh, words, lots of them, were being used as weapons down in the Underworld as a long held plan to, in the planners minds, secure the future of Purebred Devils, is brought out into the open and thoroughly crushed. Long-reaching decisions are made, some good, some bad, and Rias is given a choice, which she grabs with both hands, deciding on an entirely new way forward for both herself and her peerage. A swimsuit competition is organized, romance is in the air along with perversions and questions asked about Kokabiel and everything else while Ranma wonders why everything in his life has to be so complicated, and Mousse gains both a new love and a new outlook on life.

I decided to go with AGGC as one of the choices since I think we’re within three chapters of ending it, and since Stallion of the Line will be updated by the end of this month. And I feel I should remind you all that given the fact FILFy should really be considered a medium story, if another story wins first place, I will probably be able to do two small stories this coming month in the same time frame one FILFy chapter would take me.
