May2020 Small Story Poll (Patreon)

Alright, sorry for the delay on this guys, I was trying to get into outlining the next chapter GDWHOM, couldn’t get into it. I am really having trouble getting the scene with Rias’s parents right. Even in outline form it just comes off as stilted, the dialogue not up to snuff even if I think I’m happy with the setting. So I am going to put that story off for this month. I will bring it back in June though. Nor is Anything Goes Game Changer here. I will be updating it by Mother’s Day at the latest. It’s about halfway finished as it is, and I should have it back from Hiryo by then LOL.

For those of you who have joined in the last month, welcome. I hope that RL is treating you as well as possible in this tumultuous time. Here are the choices for the poll this month:

Stallion of the Line – One Piece/Ranma crossover: Rest and recuperation is the name of the game for man and ship as Raffy and his crew deal with the aftermath of the fight against Enel. A fruit is hidden as, while Raffy, Zoro, and the others discuss training, Laki makes friends with Makino and Nami as a weaponsmith, while Chopper and Sanji trade medical knowledge and food for dials and cigarettes. The Marines bury their dead, Hina wonders where to go from here, and a party is had during which Nami decides to go hard for what she wants then soft as Robin tries to decide if she is amused or affronted. Not much gold is added to the pirate's existing horde to Nami’s intense displeasure, and the Resolve is repaired once more for it’s next journey.

Fate Touched in Middle Earth – HP/LOTR crossover: Harry runs into elves who make him realize that they too can be assholes while practicing his own brand of ‘diplomacy’ before relenting and letting the elves lock them up, since hey, “Alohomora plus Invisibility Cloak equals food. Be right back.” Harry and Bilbo go on a few small adventures while making a friend and a frenemy, as the dwarves recover their strength. The two of them then launch a daring escape, only to realize that one size does not fit all, leaving Harry once more bruised and battered, before he and the dwarves once more have troubles of the orcish persuasion. Gandalf arrives in Dol Guldur and starts his investigations while Thorin and company, plus one, have their first glimpse of the Lonely Mountain.

Semblance of Hope - Ranma/RWBY crossover: Ranma and the team arrive in Mistral to a reception so warm its sickening. After a quick escape from the loving public, Ranma and the others are introduced to a few of Pyrrha’s relatives, oh, and her parents too, eventually. While the Mistral ruling council demands their attendance at a soiree, a General and a Wizard talk shop, interrogations, and Huntresses to be who should already be so. A Raven’s flock is brought in as muscle, while the Grimm mass, Cinder ponders, Ranma meets the parents, Achilles makes a heel of himself, Pyrrha gets a new weapon, and Ruby gets a few calls, much to the delight of her sister in at least one case.
