Okay, it is now the 21st and that means it is time to bring the small story poll for January to an end. I am noticing that more people – about 100 to maybe 150, are voting now that I’ve started to use this format. I will remind everyone though that these polls are weighted! I go through the downloaded results and weight them by giving out 4 vtoes for every dollar donated.
And now on to the results.
In last place, which did somewhat surprise me, was AGGC. It scored a total of 839. Easily it’s weakest showing, but the next story obviously benefited greatly because of that. Coming in third with a total of 1,225 was Semblance of Hope. Yet even if it had brought in five times the anemic 57 points it brought in over on fanfic, it would not have even come close to number one and number two on this poll.
In easily one of the closest polls I have seen in a very long time, Fate Touched in Middle Earth was beaten for first place by a measly four votes by Gods and Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My. Fate brought in a total of 1,836 points, and easily won over on fanfic with 239 votes. But GDWHOM garnered a total of 1,840 votes, with 115 coming in from fanfic.
So the small story I will work on after Sword, Bow and Horse, is my Ranma/Highschool DxD crossover.
As an aside, I will mention again that the questions I was asked in the latest question and answer post were FAR tamer than the questions several of y’all have asked me via message. You see, if you don’t have the courage to post your embarrassing/unusual plot twist/relationship/hentai-related questions, just imagine how I’d feel about putting that kind of thing in my stories!
