Another Bunch of Smallish/Medium Questions (Patreon)

Hello all, since the small story poll will be done tomorrow and like in most months these days, I’ve got a few questions I thought I’d put past you all. 

First of all, two broad questions.

Tattoos and piercings: 

Where does everyone stand on the use of these as plot devices/points of interest? I have ideas of magic imbued tattoos/runes I can use in practically every story I am writing that has magic in them. Stallion too though not magic ones LOL. But I once saw a LuNa fanfic or picture that showed Nami having gotten a tattoo of Luffy’s straw hat on one of her breasts, and I remember thinking, ‘now that’s a properly piratical way of showing devotion’. But I’ve never used tattoos on any of my main characters before, and other than earrings haven’t used piercings before either. So I’m wondering what people think about body additions like that.

The Patron-only story poll format: 

In my announcement of Making Wave’s victory in this month’s poll, I mentioned adopting a rotation of the three currently ongoing Patron-only stories. That is Bhaalson Remodel, Making Waves, and Sword Bow and Horse. I would take two of them, the story that was not mentioned the month before and the fic which took second place and put them through a poll against one another. Bhaalson won in November, MW this month. That means in January, Bhaalson will reenter the rotation against Sword Bow and Horse. Does everyone like this idea, or not?  

And before anyone asks, no.  Heroes of the High Seas won’t be on here unless it receives truly massive support. 

And I know another question on this point will be which story is closer to completion the answer is MW. But that's only because it is much further along, and don’t expect it to end in less than a year. And frankly, my Fairy Tail muse could use some juice (*hint, hint*) to get that far.

Now for the story-specific questions: 

Stallion: 

1. The time is coming up soon (as in the next chapter) where a final decision has to be made on whether or not Nami will join the Raffy/Robin relationship. I am just wondering if  Nami is the type to be satisfied when told she’ll only be able to have a bit of the pie, or if she’ll make a play to push Robin out of the relationship.  I’m really torn on this point, so I’d like everyone’s opinion on it. 

2. I went into this fic with the specific desire to keep it small and centered on the Strawhat Crew, just like the original is, sans the flashbacks, of course, LOL (Oda has embraced the flashback far too much in my opinion).  But that means I only want to show one adventure/fight occurring elsewhere. So after the next chapter, which will obviously be all Strawhats all the time, which would everyone prefer to see: Usopp and co.’s continuing adventures or Blackbeard being found by Ace?

FILFy:

1. Only two real questions for FILFy, but the first does actually have something to do with the next chapter, specifically how it ends. Besides Rias, who from the extended family should go with Her, Lily, and Harry to England? Yubelluna is in given her bandrui powers. Kala is out, but she’ll get more than a bit of time with Harry in the next chapter. Yasaka can’t, and Kunou will stay with her. 

So the question is, should Tonks and Teddy come along, or not? Rias leaving Akeno behind to lead the rest of her peerage makes sense, but I want at least one member of her peerage to come, and I don’t want to automatically take Koneko. I’d like to take one of either Loup or Kiba, but I don’t know if I can justify it. 

You see how undecided I am on this point.

2. Judging from canon, is Azazel the type to ignore Sirzechs’ warnings and try to get close to the wards around Kuoh in order to observe them? Because if so… he is in for a very nasty surprise. I want to know though since it could serve as part of the adventures that the people left behind will have while Harry, Rias and the others are in the UK/elsewhere.

ATP: 

1. Only one question here, but it’s a bit of a doozy in terms of story flow. I haven’t heard back from Mordreek (or any of my other ATP editors) about the last chapter. And I am kind of leery about going into a real Asgardian heavy chapter without his input. I can probably find someone else – either among all of you or among my story reviewers on fanfic – but I have to wonder, could I instead safely put off the confrontation with the Shadows and instead insert my version of the Avengers movie without any buildup to it?

Bhaalson: 

1. This is just a question for those who played the original game. How much time exactly passed in BG? I am thinking about half a year or so, but that is based on how many ‘days’ passed while I was galivanting around doing all the quests I could. 

GDWHOM:

1. I’ve decided once and for all that I will continue the Rias/Ranma romance line, but it will be slow and she and Saeko will bang heads several times, despite mutual respect. I have also decided to remove Gabriel from the romance.  There’s just no way to have her get involved with a human and not Fall. And Gabriel is one of the most loyal Archangels, she would never contemplate that. 

So, who should replace her in the pairing? Serafall for shits and giggles? Rika, because she loves a strong man? Or Koneko coming to love Ranma during their ongoing acclimatization exercises? Or her sister, a dark cat swooping in to ride the dark horse?  Or should it be Akeno seeing the sadist/masochist within the two martial artists and wanting to experience it for herself?
