Hello all. This is a request (read as plea complete with bowed head and even kneeling if you want to imagine it) for editors. By this I mean people who are good at spotting small mistakes and correcting them in around ten to fourteen days if possible. You do not need to have any knowledge of the canons being mutilated, you just need the ability to correct small mistakes and be able to turn on the track changes as you do so.

The following stories are in need of more editors:

Both DxD crossovers: Especially FILFy. I work with Nad Destroyer on flow and DxD knowledge, but that leaves a lot of small mistakes. GDHWOM is not nearly as much of a priority given the popularity of it’s direct rival.

A third Path to the Future: I have not gotten the last chapter back from Michael or heard from him. This means he’s either offline or there’s something wrong with our email connection. Not good either way.

Both SW crossovers: Here only HIryo has volunteered to look over the chapters long term. And yes, you can volunteer to look at one story of the other LOL.

Bhaalson Remodel: (Despite our best efforts, me and Urdodelig Urningin are not up to this task)

Sword Bow and Horse: Only Hiryo has volunteered to look it over, and he and I both agree he’s good for flow and Ranma facts, but not so much small mistakes.

Fate Touched in Middle Earth: I was working with Mordreek on this at one point, but he too has not been communicating with me, though in his case for a far longer time than Michael.

Anything Goes Game Changer:

Semblance of Hope: Both this and AGGC only have Hiryo looking them over for Ranma knowledge/names etc. And I think he will agree with me that the two of us still aren’t as good at spotting mistakes as someone dedicated to the task like Michael

Stallion of the Line is not on this list since I think with more time Tomon has shown that he can do the small mistakes thing well enough. Cheers mate. Nor is Making Waves since Justlovereadin’ and Hiryo both look this story over with me, and between us we can do a decent job of it. Thank you both once more for your continuing help on this story.

As mentioned before, if you volunteer to beta read you receive more votes to use in the monthly polls. That is Forty votes for medium stories (25,000-35,000), sixty votes for larger stories (36,000 and above) and 20 votes for anything smaller than 25,000 words.

So please, if you think you can help spot the small mistakes that mar my works all too often, please, step up and let’s see if together we can make these stories better.

I am willing to volunteer for Horse of the Force, Sword Bow & Horse and Semblance of Hope and Stallion of the Line and Making waves. I am currently PCS'ing from the army and need something to do with theses idle hands and overthinking mind of mine.

I know I'm really late to the plate, but I would like to discuss some and be able to work on the part of the Tuatha Dé Danann in Filfy. Specially after reading the latest chapter and the interaction of Harry with Gasper's sacred gear The Forbidden Balor View which actually impacts this part of the story and I can't believe that I forgot about it. That sacred gear is based and supposedly was made by using the eye of Balor of the Evil Eye, a Fomorian leader and antagonist to the Tuatha Dé Danann in the second battle between their people who killed the than king of the Tuatha dé, Nuada Airgétlam or Nuada of the Silver Arm, and was killed by Lugh Lamhfada or Lugh Longarms with Fragarach as the foster child of Mannanán mac Lir the original owner of the sword and the God which essence, power or spirit has given Harry his power.

I actually knew that story, but there is a difference between Gasper's Gear (GG from now on) and Fragarach and the power Harry can access and even the dreams Lily has been seeing: Balow was killed, then his power taken from his corpse. There was no soul remaining. Some Sacred Gears - Ddraig, Albion, were made into such while still living, so they are still alive within the Sacred Gear. Balor is not. Thus his connection to his previous pantheon is gone.

Oh, but if you want to be an editor for when Harry and co get to the UK, I will remember that when we get to that point LOL.
