A few smallish questions going forward: (Patreon)

Hey all, just had the most irritating three days in a while. Curse parents who are at the end of their rope with grandmothers and grandmothers who have the empathic range of teaspoons and their various physical ailments which force me to step in and... 

Ahem, anyway, I had been thinking about asking a few more long term questions. They aren’t hugely important, most of them having to do with the relationship side of things, but one of them was sparked by a few reviews over on fanfic about Horse for the Force.

So let’s get the Horse of the Force question done with first:

1. I have believed all along that Sidious is basically the worst kind of enemy for Ranma, simply because his greatest strength is remaining hidden and using proxies. This means there really isn’t anything that Ranma or any of the Jedi could do to find him. His mastery of hiding his presence is such that he’s been in the presence of Yoda himself and every other member of the council and none of them had even a hint he was a Force user. However, it has been a LOT of chapters, and Ranma has personally not really done much offensively to hamper Sidious’ long term plans. I understand this is irritating, and it should be, hell imagine how it is for the characters. But can anyone else think of a way Ranma could use his talents in order to find Sidious? With what they know at this point? If you do, please share it, and I might include it in the fic going forward.  As it is, I have plans in place that will wear away at Sidious' hidden resources, but the Clone Wars will still start on schedule.

And now on to the other questions: 

First Making Waves:

1. It’s coming up on time for Ranma Oceana’s relationships to start getting serious. So my question is, once and for all, are multi-relationships really believable in the Fairy Tail World? Or, as I believe, does it depend on the girls in question? I am not looking at the idea of Ranma being a Ranger as insurmountable or his desire to travel as such a problem any longer. Nor is this a vote for best girl. I am just asking for everyone’s opinion about whether it is believable for a guy to be in a relationship with multiple strong willed, magically powerful women in this world, or would they, when it came to the point either fight for him or back off rather than decide to share?  I've never done a fic where the girls to try to fight before, so it could be interesting, but could also be irritating.

2. In this fic Mistgun is not part of Fairy Tail. So the question is, where should he be, and what should he be doing beyond his self-imposed mission of shutting down Anima. I have an idea, but I’d be interested in seeing what everyone else thinks.

FILFy Teacher: 

1. Is anyone interested in seeing Gabrielle Delacour becoming a character rather than just a side joke? I have ideas there, but I am VERY leery about adding yet another character who would require more screen time, and more so adding another girl into the pairing given the women already around.  However, a writer/reviewer I respect a great deal has asked if I could include her, and there are ways to do it, so I'm torn.

2. This is a question about DxD canon lore, based on the fact I hate tournament arcs and I am not interested in including the Young Devil’s tournament or whatever it’s called. So the question is, is the original in canon important for some reason that will force me to include it? I haven’t read past the interrupted peace conference in the light novels, so I have no idea.

Anything Goes Game Changer: 

As anyone who reads this fic could probably tell, things are coming to a head both in the overall plot and in Akitsu and Ranma’s relationship. So these questions have to deal with those climaxes:

1. It is proven fact in canon that the more Sekirei an Ashikabi has, the more they attract. So after Ranma becomes Akitsu’s Ashikabi, should other unwinged Sekirei respond to him when before they were not, and if so, should he wing them or not? My opinion at this point is that his and Akitsu’s relationship have gone too far to let anyone but Nabiki join them, but I am wondering if people would be amused to see further shenanigans there even if no other Sekirei joins them, or if that would seem cruel to the girls who don’t end up with him.

2. What should happen to Hayato? Higa’s for the choppy-chop, but I am uncertain what should happen to the other more powerful Ashikabi. Hayato seems like a child that needs a smack upside the head, but am I being too kind? What about Nishi? 

3. Same question with Takami. My opinion is that she’s proven too unreliable and far too willing to go along with things despite her protestations to the contrary to be trusted, but I’ll admit to being biased.

And this is a more general question.  Did everyone enjoy seeing the various fic ideas I shared in February?  I found writing them up fun, and a good break from the MW combat scenes when they got me down, but I'm wondering if its too much of a tease showing you these ideas that I can't get to in the foreseeable future.
