August 2024 HP Poll (Patreon)

And now for the HP Poll!! 

 The choices here are:

Bhaalson Remodel – Hp/Gamer/Baldur Gate Crossover – Laughter does not make Edwin any happier with his(?) sudden change.  Arguments and shouting abound, as Edwina tries to help herself, only for it to fail, with certain information he and Harry discover adding insult to injury.  The retooling continues for a bit after their return to Beregost, with everyone getting something new.  Harry and Viconia have a night to themselves in the kitchen while Jaheira and Khalid attempt to have a romantic night elsewhere, only for Imoen and Edwina to cause trouble. Winter closes in as the group take one more mission outside the town. However, this does not stop the trouble from coming, as Beregost comes under attack from hordes of orcs and bandits.  Trying to get to the bottom of this has Edwina meeting several of her colleagues in her new guise, and having trouble because of it.  However the sheer size of this battle forces a new tactic and quest on Harry and company, one with the wellbeing of not only their party, but the town at stake. 

Magic of the Force – HP/SW Crossover:  Harry continues his recovery and repairs begin on the Tyrant’s Bane. Aayla, Zule, and Padme attempt to have a discussion although it is often a second priority to work.  Aayla takes the time to investigate his quarters, finding much of interest for the future, but nothing incriminating or pointing towards the Sith at present. She and Anakin have a heart-to-heart.  The war continues as the Republic and CIS launch new offensives, one building n the success of a previous one, the other striking out into new territory under Thrawn. Thrawn ponders as battles begin, Sidious steps up his game in the Senate, while Padme deals with her newfound fame, remaining in Thyferra until the new government takes over.  Attention diverts to the Corellian front for the GDL, while Dominus meets with Grievous to speak about the future. A recovered Harry is pulled into a interesting personal discussion, with Padme in the driver’s seat, before meeting with Anakin and discussing his future both in the Order and as an individual.

This poll will end on the 24th.  For those of you who don’t even read my Ranma Poll posts LOL, I will repeat here: FILFy will be my third priority this month, making the HP winner the fourth priority. This month’s chapter will be half-segue/world building, then the opening moves of the next confrontation, setting everything in place before the violence really begins.  That confrontation, folks will happen in OCTOBER.  And that chapter will, like a black hole, effect everything around it.  To the point I might have to cut down to three chapters that month rather than the four I’ve been pushing for a while that month.

Anyway, yes, this means the HP poll winner will probably be smaller than it would otherwise be, but I should be able to get it done regardless.

And unfortunately, BR fans, but I already used my votes this month. And Magic will be getting the quarter carry over effect.
