Ranma July 2024 Poll (Patreon)

How do, folks.  By this time you all should have seen that Bhaalson Remodel is up, bringing June to a close.  I want to apologize again for that guys.  I just could not make up the lose of two days of fic time.  Regardless of that, and my aborted attempt to get the fic out to an editor, I hope you will enjoy the chapter.

July is here, which means that it’s time for the HP and Ranma polls.  First up is the HP poll, but don’t let that fool you.  It will in fact be my third priority this month.  Making Waves (yes, I will try to get out a fourth fic again) will be my fourth. 

 First, obviously, will be the Patron Only Poll.  Just to remind you all, that poll will CLOSE TOMORROW!!!!  I want to get a jump on it as quick as I can, and I think tomorrow evening and the morning of the 4th is going to be prime Dragon Naturally Speaking time LOL. 

The first is the Ranma poll! 

The choices are:

Effect of a Horse and a Dragon – Ranma/Mass Effect Crossover:  Wrex realizes that ki healing trumps alcohol on the Citadel, as the owners of said Citadel search desperately for his drinking partner, not remembering the old adage about catching a tiger by the tail.  Meanwhile, Benezia hunts for answers, dealing with a assassination attempt from a astonishing source, which only proves to fan the flames of her interest, only to get an equally unexpected message from Ranma.  Meanwhile, Ranma has been learning things and trying figure out what all the images mean.  The idea of acquiring the entirety of the Shadow Broker’s web is too good to pass up, and Benezia acts quickly.  So quickly she drags a group of Quarians into trouble, trouble which then envelope Ranma too, much to his delight. Ranma learns some bad words, meets a young Quarian, and then begins a small campaign, the basis of ‘if you sell drugs I punch your head in’ on not one, but several planets with his new companions along for the ride, encountering a certain thief whose name makes Ranma sad. Eventually though, the time comes to head back to Asari space for his ship with his new friends.

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: Finished for now with his reunion with Vivi, Luffy, with Hancock trailing after him, head back towards the center of the battle. Elsewhere, Doffy reflects on his good fortune and the mistakes of the elderly, while Garp tries to thread a line between doing what is right, and doing what is best for his family.  A confrontation between Garp, Sengoku, and Peter occurs while Whitebeard feels his age acting up,  Lightning crashes as Ranma diverts for a moment, with only Kizaru fast enough to counter.  The Whitebeard Fleet begins to pull away, with Ace and Aokiji calling a halt to their own battle.  Akainu obeys an order, while Peter rages and Ranma taunts. After Garp has left to do what he thinks is the right Sengoku proves he can hurt Luffy and Ace is forced to retreat to the Whitebeard fleet.  Jozu and Marco link up with him, the three facing two Admirals as Luffy pins down Kizaru.  An order is given and very reluctantly Ace and his fellow division commanders retreat. A badly wounded Whitebeard remains, while elsewhere, Garp and many others try to stop the mass breakout of Level 6 inmates. The battle draws to a close, but not without one final clash…

Remember, Effect will be getting 419 votes from the quarter carry-over effect.  I am not going to vote in this poll, because on the one hand, having a shorter chapter for Effect would be nice, but so would finishing up the War of the Best.  So the choice is entirely yours, ladies and gentlemen. 

This poll will end on the 10th.  Yes, it will be my second priority this month.  Hopefully that mean that if Stallion wins, Tomon will have enough time to work on the whole chapter before I have to post it.
