Chapter 185: Reunion at the forest part 2

“Ah!, my beautiful Nami, Im glad to see you are okay!” Sanji greeted her.

"Where have you been?" Nami ignored Sanji’s comment and went directly to Vivi, looking very upset.

Vivi gave her an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, we're you worried? I woke up a while ago in some mermaid's house" 

"Speaking of beautiful mermaids, have you seen the princes?" Asked Sanji.

“Oh?...were you enjoying yourself with mermaids then?” Asked Nami, giving her a look.

Seeing Nami frowning again, Vivi decided to do something bolder.

She grabbed her hand and push her closer.

This took Nami by surprise.

"What are you-"

Before she could say one more word, Vivi smashed her lips against hers, giving Nami a long kiss that left her speechless.

"I don't need any mermaid thought,  I already have a vixen with me."

"Vivi!" Nami then reacted and became flushed red.

Sanji collapsed on the floor, blood pouring out of his nose.

"I guess that was a bit too much for him…" Vivi sighed, he was going to need more training later on.

"I didn't knows you could do that with girls too…" Shirahoshi stared at them with interest.

"Is Hachan with you?" Asked Camie.

"He is in the ship, he is injured but his life is in no danger. Chopper is with him." Explained Vivi.

"I'll go see him!" Camie hurried inside the Sunny.

After calming down a bit, Nami told them about the attack on the palace by the Fishman Pirates.

Jimbei gasped "They have taken over the palace?!" 

"What?!" Shirahoshi got closer with a worried face.

"Did something happen to my family?"

“The last thing I know is that the pirates took the King as a prisoner, I don't know about your brothers…sorry.” Nami looked at the princess.

"To think that Hody Jones would go that far…" Said Jimbei, looking defeated and tired.

"Father has been captured?!, oh no!" Cried Shiraoshi.

"Are Zoro and the others okay?" Asked Luffy.

"It seems like it but we will have to go there and find out for ourselves. There is a limit to what can I learn with just haki…" Said Vivi.

“I must apologize, Strawhats. It seems like you got involved in our internal conflict.” Jimbei bowed to them.

“Man, you are nothing like the other Shichibukai we have met before, they all tried to fight us…” Commented Nami.

“It seems like you already knew about us before we got here.” Sanji noticed.

He nodded.

“I have been following your progress since you put a stop to Arlong and his crew…I am very thankful that you did that.”

Nami got tense again at hearing that name, so Vivi approached and held her tight.

“You knew that shark guy?” Asked Luffy.

“More than know him…there was a time when Arlong, Hachi, and I were part of the same pirate crew. And I am responsible for releasing Arlong onto the east blue.” Jimbei revealed.

“What do you mean about that?!” Exclaimed Nami.

“Yeah!, you better explain yourself.” Shouted Sanji.

Even Luffy was looking at Jimbei with a serious expression, probably wondering if he was an enemy after all.

Vivi was thankful for her more complete knowledge of the situation or she may have done something rash at this point.

Jimbei proceeds to tell the story of Otohime, Fisher Tiger, and the Sun Pirates. 

A.N(Manga 621-627 if you are interested, I’m not writing the whole thing since there is no point, is a very long story and is the same.) 

“So…that's the story of how this island tried to fight discrimination for the past 16 years. Arlong is basically my sworn brother, so I feel responsible for his crimes. We were supposed to run there as soon as something happened but he bribed the Marines so we never got any reports until it was too late.”

“You bastard!, you think an apology will be enough?, do you have any idea what she went through?!” Sanji was ready to start kicking Jimbei when Nami stopped him.

“Enough, Sanji…Mister Jimbei wasn't ill-intentioned.” 

Jimbei knelt in front of her.

“You can punish me if you wish to…is the only thing I can do right now.”

“I said that's enough, is Arlong the one I hate, not you,” Nami said.

“I did suffer a lot because of Arlong actions, but despite all of that pain, that's also when I met my friends.”

“You are talking about me, right?!” Asked Sanji.

“All of those things made me who I am right now, I'm not going to blame you just because you are also a Fishman.” Explained Nami.

“That's my girl!” Vivi exclaimed.

 “So…you don't need to apologize for ruining my life. Is not that ruined, you know? I’m having fun.” Nami said with a smile.

Jimbei bowed to her once more.

“I do not deserve those words…I am obliged.“

“Too bad our Captain missed like 90% of that story…” Vivi looked at Luffy who was sleeping comfortably on the floor.

“How long are you planning to sleep?!” Sanji smashed his foot against his face.

Luffy woke up with a jump. Then looked at Jimbei.

“ So…what about that thief caught by the Crybaby’s mother?”

“You slept the whole time, didn't you? That was the start of the story!” Shouted Sanji.

“By the way, wasn't there a coup in the process?, as the royal family got kidnaped, the palace got taken over, and our friends were attacked?. Because we spent the last hour sitting here listening to that story.” Commented Vivi.

“Yes, we need to go rescue my father and find my brothers!” Cried Shirahoshi.

“Oh, that's right, I almost forgot!” Jimbei realized. “Maybe this was not the best time for telling you about that…my bad.”
