Chapter 170: Reinforcements

A beam of light went past their ship and impacted against the Admiral ship.

Or at least that's what looked like at first, but on closer observation, some of the witnesses saw the attack being blocked by one man.

"It's the Sunny!" Chopper shouted with stars in his eyes.

Luffy was smiling widely

"What are you guys doing here?"

With a loud splash,  the giant ship belonging to the Strawhats made its entrance.

"We came to pick you up!" Exclaimed Franky.

"Luffy, you guys!" Screamed Usopp.

"Is everyone okay?"

"We are fine, but this is not the moment for this, we still have a big problem!"

Nami pointed towards Kizaru's ship. 

Now that the smoke have cleared, it was revealed that the enemy ship was still intact.

"What?. My Gaon Canon did nothing?" Said Franky with shock.

"That's the power of an admiral…" Added Robin with a serious tone.

"Hmph!, what can a guy alone do? Is not just us who came here. “ Said Zoro while crossing his arms.

Vivi noticed that Kizaru was not looking at them.

She followed his gaze and saw several approaching ships.

The ship at the front was pulled by two giant sea serpents and the two ships behind were. connected to the first one.

'That's Boa Hanckok ship! and those other two…' 

"Hancock?!" Exclaimed Luffy

“Master Ivankov!” Shouted Inazuma as she recognized the revolutionary's battleship.

“Jozu, Vista!” Called Marco and Ace as they recognize the third and fifth division Captains of the Whitebeard pirates on the other ship.

Back at the Marines ship, everyone was looking at this with extreme worry.

“Sir…this is very bad!” His second in command said. Sweat was falling across his face.

The rest of the crew did not look any better. Their chances of victory were already not certain before even with an Admiral on their side, but now…there were two more Whitebeard Captains and one of the strongest Commanders from the Revolutionary Army, Emporio Ivankov, whose power is said to rival the Admiral themselves.

Boa Hancock was supposed to be on their side, but it was very obvious that she would not be helping them in this fight. At best, she would remain neutral.

“Retreat!” Kizaru made an immediate decision to increase their odds of surviving. The chances of victory or taking Ace back were now…zero. The best they could manage is escape. He had some very important information for the Five Elders. Something that he did not dare to speak by den-den-mushi.

“What about the Vice-Admiral Smoker and Captain Tashigi, Sir? They still remain as hostages.”

“We have nothing to negotiate with. We’ll have to trust in their mercy.”

He looked at his men.

“You have my orders!, retreat!”

The Marines got to work and a few seconds after, they could all see the Admiral ship making a hard turn while moving again.

“They are retreating!” Called Nami.

“Of course. Kizaru is not a reckless idiot like that Akainu. He knows he has no chance of winning. That's too bad, I kinda wanted to get some payback.” Said Ace.

“Is better this way, Ace. This was not a good place to fight anyways.” Marco said that to soothe his friend.

The other ships approached them.

“Luffy!” Boa jumped out of her ship and went running to his side. But then stopped right in front of him and became embarrassed.

“I…are you hurt?”

She looked at him with intensity.

Luffy laughed.

“Shishishi, of course, I’m fine. I just need some food and I will be back in shape.”

“Well…” Sanji approached but kept his eyes well away from the black-haired beauty that was Boa Hancock.

“My cooking was interrupted by that Admiral, so is going to take a while to finish the meal. And we have a lot more people to feed now.”

He said while looking around.

Boa seemed to have thought of something and became excited.

“Leave it to me!. We caught a Sea King on our way here. We have a lot of meat prepared!.”

“Yeah!, meat!” Luffy shouted.

Ace chuckled.

“You are still the same, I see…”

The rest of the Strawhats, some of the people aboard the Whitebeard ship, and the Revolutionaries came all aboard the “borrowed” marine warship since it had the biggest deck.

Vivi decided to approach Boa as she was returning to her own ship and order the food.

“Hi!” She greeted.

The Empress gave her a look with mixed feelings.

“You are one of Luffy’s crewmates right?” 

“I am, my name is Vivi. Nice to meet you, Empress Hancock.” She gave her a sincere smile.

This seemed to calm the other woman a bit. She looked at her before looking back at Luffy.

“So…are you and Luffy very close?...”

“Ah…” She now understood what was happening.

‘She is jealous?!.’

“Me and the Captain are good friends, that's all. You don't have to worry about me trying to seduce him…trust me.”

“I see…but he is soo handsome, I don't know if any woman could resist him.” She blushed a bit while saying those words very softly.

“You can trust her, Lady Hancock.” Robin approached and joined the conversation.

“She has no interest in men at all. Just beautiful women. If anything, you would be the one in danger…”

“What?!” Hancock looked at Vivi with shock but recovered quickly.

“Oh!, I understand then. Most women on my island are also like that. They only like other women.”

“Really?“ Vivi rose an eyebrow. “So…when can we visit this island?” 

Hancock let out a chuckle.

“Friends of Luffy are always welcome.”

“Then…what about we give you a few tips on how to conquer our Captain?” Suggested Vivi.

“We?” Asked Robin.

“Really?, you would do that for me?!” Hancock seemed very excited about the idea.

“Then follow me to my ship!, we have much to talk about!.”
