Chapter 60: Reaching Robin

The three-headed Judge jumped on the Strawhats with his massive sword.

He made a vertical slash that landed in the middle of them, destroying the stone floor.

“Don't ignore me! the presiding judge.”

Zoro got in front of them.

“You guys go ahead. I'll follow after I finish this up.”

“What an impertinent pirate, I'll show you how scary I can b-”

The judge was interrupted by a salvo of bullets.

“Who dares!” The outraged judge screamed.

“Leave this guy to us!” A group from the Franky family said before getting in front of the judge.

They continued their way up the stairs to the tower but the place was filled with a never-ending amount of marines.

“Kill the pirates!”

“Attack!”

“Shitty bastards! I can't believe that there are still so many inside.” Complained Sanji.

“Get out of the way!” Yelled Chopper while pushing marines around in his big form.

Nami defended herself by using the Clima Tact as a metal club.

Vivi went to the back of the group and used her ability to push the marines down the stairs.

“Water Blast!” A high-pressure stream of water shot out of her hands.

After what felt like hours, they seemed to be close to the top. It was then that they heard Luffys voice.

“Robin!, I've come for you!”

“Luffy!”

“Captain!”

The crew exclaimed.

“Let's go, I can finally see the end of these freaking stairs!” Yelled Sanji.

Luffy keeps calling for Robin while they made their way to the top.

They finally went through the door that lead to the roof of the tower in time to witness Franky making a mess in the tower and blowing up the marines.

“Hey, Robin!, I'm glad you are still here!” Exclaimed Luffy with a smile after seeing Robin finally come out to the balcony.

“Gomu Gomu….-” Luffy was about to jump out when Robin called to him.

“Wait!” Luffy stopped and looked at her.

“I told you many times already! I'll never come back to you!”

Franky who was next to her made a confused face. ”Huh?”

“Why did you come to rescue me?!” Robin demanded. “When did I ask you to do that?”

“I just want to die!” Robin cried.

“Nico Robin!” called Franky, looking angry at her.

Spandam seemed to find her reaction very funny because He started to laugh like a madman.

“This is so interesting! What are they going to do now?”

“What's wrong with you?.” Asked Franky. “They just risked their lives to come here for you!”

“They did that on their own…” Said Robin softly.

“What!.” Don't be a foo-”

Franky was kicked in the head by Kaku and smashed against a wall.

The rest of the CP9 lined up on the balcony, with Spandam right behind them for protection.

“Whahaha! I'm glad you are all here, CP9. But let's wait for a bit. The Strawhat crew has begun to fall apart” Spandam chuckled.

“Let's see where this is going! this is too amusing.”

“Robin!...is death what you want?” Asked Luffy.

“Whahaha!, listen to his grievous scream. I wonder what the look on his face is while saying those things.” Spandam ventured to the front of the group to take a good look at Luffy, who was currently picking his nose with a carefree attitude..

“What the hell?” Yelled Spandam.

Vivi and the rest went to where Luffy was standing and looked toward the tower.

“Robin!” cried Nami.

“My lovely Robin. Your rescuer is here.!” Said Sanji.

Vivi didn't say anything but instead looked at the many bruises and cuts on her.

‘That was probably Spandam doing. I may have to do something special for him.’

“Listen Robin.” Started Luffy. “We came all the way here! So we are going to rescue you anyways, and if you still wanna die, you can do it afterward.”

The crew jumped on top of the wall that faced the Judicial Tower.

“I beg of you, Robin!” Luffy continued. “I don't care what you want. Whether you chose to live or die…but whatever you decide…say it while you are with us!”

“Yeah!”

“That's right!”

“Come back, my sweet Robin!”

They heard the sounds of something mechanical.

“The bridge?” Asked Nami.

“The Franky family are working on lowering it.” Said Vivi.

“Hey, say something…” Franky spoke.

Robin had her eyes closed and seemed to be struggling a lot.

“Robin…” whispered Vivi.

“CP9!” Spandam called. “I give you permission to wipe out those pirates! But take them down at the tower of Justice, is not like they could get up here, to begin with!.”

Spandam then got close to the balcony's edge to look at the Strawhats.

“You blasted pirates! no matter how brave you are, nothing will change. We have the full strength of an assassin group, the CP9, we have the heavy Gates of Justice that no human can open,  and on top of that, I have the authority to use this golden den-den-mushi to trigger the Buster Call!.” Spandam held the thing in his hand as a way to show dominance.

Robins's face immediately changed the moment she saw that den-den-mushi.

Spandam saw her reaction and smiled.

“That's right!. This is the power that destroyed your home twenty years ago. The power that removed Ohara from the map!” He then started to laugh.

“That's just evil!” Nami was outraged.

“I wanna kick him so bad!” Said Sanji.

“Stop it! don't do that!” Yelled Robin.

“Oh?, I like that response. It's very thrilling. What's that? should I press this Buster Call button?” Spandam mocked Robin.

“Do you even know what will happen if you do?!” A frustrated Robin exclaimed.

Spandam chuckled. “Of course I do. The chances of you pirates getting out of this island alive will become zero. By just pressing this little button.” He placed his finger over it to tease her.

“Is not that simple. Stop it!” Robin demanded.

“Hey!, don't get cheeky with me now.” Spandam didn't like her tone.

“You said Ohara disappeared from the map, didn't you? Can you see any humans on that map? You can only be that cruel because you look at the world like that!” Yelled Robin.
