There are two things I want to discuss this week. The first is that I am going to focus on trying to get Tenebroum Patron's to where they are 8 chapters ahead. Ideally that will take another 1 to 1.5 months. Then after that I will look at increasing the chapter count for everyone else. For context I have written up to Chapter 31 and will be starting chapter 32 tonight. I can't promise that every update from now on will be three chapters every two weeks, but that's my ambition right now.

The second point is a little more celebratory. I said I was going to do it, but Death After Death, book 1 is finally done. All 34 chapters. Since chapter 24 just got posted this week, it will still continue to post for the next ten weeks, but now its writing slot is open for my next project: Golemancer.

What is Golemancer? Here's the blurb that will get posted on RR in a month or two: It didn’t even have magic at first. It was just a hunk of metal from another world, but it still changed everything. It was less than even the lowest [Dungeon Core] it was just a rock that people had tricked into thinking, but its hunger knew no bounds. In its quest to conquer, it became The Golemancer. Its every act tainted the web of essence that sustained all magic. It grew at an exponential rate, transforming the [Dungeon Core] into something truly terrible.

In the end [Systems] were the only possible response, but they would change their users as much as the Golemancer changed the cores it waged its wars with.

These changes were small at first, but quickly blossomed outward in a tangled web of aberrant innovations and core varieties that would as the world slowly descended into madness.

This Story is an unconventional gamelit fantasy story with some light sci-fi themes. [Dungeon Core] themes starting in Ch. 2, and [System] mechanics starting in Ch. 7. Updates every Monday, with perspectives alternating between the Golemancer and the heroes that fight it.

If I had to summarize the plot down to a single sentence it would be, 'What if Skynet got Isekaied by accident.' While the AI isn't actually from terminator, I think that makes the plot pretty easy to understand. I've never written something with stats and all that, so I'm not sure how much that will slow me down. I guess we'll just have to see.

When I get the first five chapters done, I'll post them here for review. All patrons will get to read the first ten early. Ideally, I would like to start posting Golemancer to RR and SH in early April, but we will see if that is feasible given the changes gamelit requires.

I have the story roughly outlined to chapter 50, and it feels like a two or three season anime to me, with a series of similar but escalating challenges and themes. I dig it, and I hope you will too!
