Hell Yeah boys! It has begun!

Nyan Krunex

This is not ATLA. You have to keep that in mind, new timeline, new kind of conflict, new avatar's story lmao!👌 Edit: I haven't watched LOK, I did long ago once and didn't finish. I am gonna give it another shot with you guys

Hyped for this series, it def has its flaws but it’s still a good show 👌🏽👍🏽

Kameron Griffin

Nah ain't no slice of life I promise u guys things are gonna get just as wild as atla

Not gonna lie, I gave up after I finished season 1. Its not bad. It's just not what I was hoping for. I hope y'all can enjoy the ride better than I did 😅

So it been like 70 year’s in the future I believe, i also never understood the, oh the world and technology evolved, like you said; they are benders and also was involved in a 100 year war, like technology goes fast during war, everything advances quicker during war

Ivan

season 2 had some great backstory and season 3 is S tier. you're missing out.

Neto Gonzalez

I really liked Korra overall. There are some bits that were weak, but there is some epic stuff in this show. I didn't care for some of the "teenage drama", but some did. Don't compare it so much to ATLA. Korra's journey is crazy and I think you guys will enjoy it.

To be fair, it looked like the fire nation had all of the industrial technology with minimal innovations. The rest of the world had the ground they walked on 😂. Now that the whole world can come together, it seems believable that these advances could happen so quickly.

Official Jrem

I know you guys will enjoy Korra it starts off slow but it’s gonna get crazy as the characters develop and the conflict rises

Official Jrem

lmao at oogie and naga hooking up

The writers only got one season this time guys, so this first season of Korra will seem kind of separate, like a single story. Nickelodeon really fucked over the writers during the development of korra, but its still an absolutely amazing show. When it's at its best, its on avatar levels of amazing, but when its at its worst..... well you'll see and be sure to blame Nick for those lesser moments, not the show or the writers.

ThatAnemicGuy

lmao yall need subs even tho you watchin in english with how much you be mispronouncing names

Anonamai

Don’t compare and you’ll be fine. This show is still better than alot of cartoons and even some anime. It’s just THAT was Last Airbender and this is Legend of Korra.

Nicole

Now that y’all have started korra I already cannot wait for y’all to get to S3😭😭

Moe

I dropped this after season 2 because I didnt care for it, but I'll happily watch the cruz bros commentary on it lol

Malkuno

S3 is probably the closest to ATLA in terms of narrative, definitely the best LoK season.

Atla was set in the 1850s and Korra is set 70 years in the future in 1920. Anyone saying that the technology advanced to fast is stupid cus the technology depicted in the show is accurate to the time periods in real life.

witz

The avatar is a reincarnation cycle so as soon as one dies, the next is born. So Aang died and then Korra was born so I think she's like 17 so he died 17 years ago.

I second Neto and Lorenzo's comment. Also adding on the tech development rate between shows. Let's remind ourselves that ATLA already had a decent dose of "steampunk" level tech in episodes like "The Northern Air Temple," The DRILL!, and "The Day of Black Sun 1&2." And well done, Chris looking through the "prodigy/mary-sue/OP" illusion of Korra. I think you guys will like the show very much. I'll say to Johnny that watching LOK a second time being older and wiser will have you appreciating it more, I think. And I understand you want to respect your audiences views and all but don't hesitate calling it an anime if you feel it is! There is enough points to argue ATLA and LOK are animes.
