Bakugo's character development is suuuuper slow. But it's still happening, and it has happened. It's just insanely slow. If you were to go back and watch the first few episodes you'd notice some differences, even though they're reasonably small ones. But it is super slow. Episodes 4 through 11 of season 3 are nonstop hype, and probably the best set of episodes in the entire series. So I'm hype as fuck to see y'all see it.

Just wanted to point out that Bakugo is better than Midoriya at everything, except being a decent human being. The reason he's mad at him is because Deku shook the foundation of Bakugo's beliefs by beating him in the training exercise in season 1, from Bakugo's point of view Deku had a quirk this whole time and was always looking down on him. Also, he isn't jealous of Deku's progress it's actually something else. You'll find out what it is in season 3. All those feelings that All Might stated about them isn't just Bakugo. Deku is envious of Bakugo's strength, he hates how their relationship turned out and the last one is not the right translation, it's not competition it's pursuit. Deku is always chasing after Bakugo, ever since they were kids. Bakugo is literally a mary sue that works hard like Deku, he's amazing at everything (but he's bad at being a decent person) and Deku is trying to surpass him, Bakugo represents what Deku wants to be. Deku represents a weakness in Bakugo, that Bakugo refuses to accept since he hates being inferior.
