Because I have my literal dream job of YA/NA cartoonist, I get to practice my illustration skillz by drawing the most teen angsty possible fanart of existing YA/MG properties (especially, especially any excuse to draw goth shit, lmao). Hoodude has one of my fave backstories of any MG franchise, being a sentient voodoo doll that protag Frankie builds to be the "perfect boyfriend", only to realize how unhealthy that is and breaking up with him, leaving Hoodude to spend the rest of his canonical existence getting over a breakup and having his BFF, psychic banshee Scarah (on the right) try to build up his self-esteem instead of obsessing over girls. (I am, however, a drama queen, so I put Scarah's boyfriend InvisiBilly in the background being all jealous and misinterpreting the situation.)

Also, it's HELLA FUN to draw fanart as an adult with drawing skillz and have my inner 12-year-old me go "whoa. hell yes"
