every comeback, groups would always go to music shows, not necessarily a competition type but after all the performances, there would be 2-3 songs at most that will compete depending on digital scores, sns scores, fan votes, etc., that's why fans are streaming the songs and buying the albums to give them music show wins and fyi, bts is the most awarded kpop artist in music shows and their most awarded song was dynamite. after dynamite was released, the song was everywhere especially because it was their first own english song (without featuring and an official comeback) and also they topped the hot 100 chart which was not common for non-english artists, especially they are asian and korean, that's why the song was everywhere. it became overplayed at some point hahaha, that's how big dynamite was.

This is such a good performance BUT in my opinion the camera switching ruins some of the effects of the choreo. That's my one beef with watching performances of tomorrow. That's honestly one where seeing the still front looking shot (like in dance practices) is best to truly see the effect of the choreo

My favorite part is when Hobi comes in and every one else shuffles around like they’re kind of like “passerby’s” on a street but then they suddenly freeze and slowly rock back and forth. It’s a really cool! Glad you guys included this in your schedule. I appreciate y’all !

Still baffled by how much stuff you reacted to in one sitting but so grateful!! About Music Shows, the main difference for you guys is that BTS will use the studio track to perform where for concerts they'll usually have live band. I think that Music Shows are one of the reason kpop fandoms are so organized (+ they are fun though cause if they win, they get to perform the song again but HOWEVER they want to, so you can guess BTS, on adrenaline and sleep deprivation, goes wild)

I love this song, it’s one of my faves. The 2015 picnic live performance of this is so good too. They don’t add the vocal effect on Tae’s voice which I like.

If you scroll down, you will see the polls they put on here for skool luv affair and dark & wild. We voted on which song we wanted them to see live. So, for the next album, which I believe is HYYH pt 1, they will put a poll so we can vote on which song we want them to react to live from that album.

Thanks for watching the live version. Although I would have preferred you guys watched the concert version from festa 2019 in Japan where the guys and the performance is a bit more mature which makes the performance more nuanced and impactful. But yeah, maybe another time once you guys get to watch their festa content a bit more you’ll get to watch that special segment again. I know there is the problem with copyright and stuff however I assume that wouldn’t be an issue here on patreon right? Anyways, thanks guys! Can’t wait for next week for HYYH era! I’m wondering how is it going to be since there are 2 mini albums and one full album that has a mix of both, plus some new songs and remixes… Or will you do their japanese album first? I’m excited to find out! 😊

With how muchyou guys love to listen to the instrumentals live, I highly recommend you watch this particular youtube episode. This is best version where you can hear their voices clearly and distinguish who is singing, plus Tae's voice is not distorted like in the soundtrack. Its with a live band, not a backing track. The choreo practice would have been better to watch to actually appreciate the actual moves and how clean they are executing and the camera work on this video isn't the best we either, hopefully next time they recommend a better one

lol usually you would be right about it being a music show competition but this was just after bts really blew up so when they came back they were given a "Comeback Special" by the TV station so along with DNA they performed several other songs just for fans and had other segments as well. I'm pretty sure DNA was competing on the music shows but the others were just for armys

This was during DNA era and M Countown gave BTS an entire hour episode of just them and their songs, called BTS Countdown. They also did a few talking bits and did DNA 2x fast. It was like a mini concert just for Armys, but for TV. It wasn't the usual M Countdown. Other artists and fandoms were not present. The song up for a "win" would be DNA, their newest title track, not these older B-sides that they performed.

Yes, you are correct. M Countdown did this entire hour just for BTS and Armys. Other artists and fandoms were not there. The boys did perform DNA (and some b-sides) and won a lot during other typical music shows.

Usually BTS would be on "M Countdown" or other music shows with other artists and fandoms present, but this time, they got the entire hour for "BTS Countdown" instead. It was just BTS and Armys on site and they performed and did talking ments like it was a mini concert (but filmed for TV). This was during DNA era and BTS did perform and win for DNA on the music shows. Tomorrow came out years before and is a B-side, so it was never up for a nomination on music shows.

Typically, idols do a music show circuit for promotions. They attend 4-5 music shows per week, filming for 15+ hours, and then do it the very next day at a different tv station all over again. Idols get sleep-deprived, but it's their chance to be on tv, promote their song, and maybe get more attention. A win cna also mean more air-time. Idols do an encore stage (with all fans present, not just their fandom) and do a silly/different version of the song live. BTS are absolutely chaotic during these encore stages, lol. It's also a more true testament to their live singing. Never trust vocals/lips on a music show. They often film 2-3x and the music show will put the best audio with the best visuals, so often the lips don't match the sound. Many artists get away with lip-syncing as a result. The best way to gauge is their live concerts or livestreams.

really wish they would not rush this album reactions that much. Its not like they are in a hurry. I really would suggest that you dont start a new album every week and maybe use the time of the second week to react to several live performances of the album. I am sure lot of Army would prefer it this way. Cause we really like to see reactions to live performances. I hope you would consider this suggestion. One live per album is really little. I think a lot of people would prefer you to slow the reactions down and watch more live performances per album.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

totally agree. for me it would be cool to have at least 1 live version, if its possible, of each song of the album, but i think its a lot so it would be probably difficult, so they could do 1 live version of the 5 most requested songs of the album or something like that

Love ‘Tomorrow’, one of my favourite songs and choreography. But I must admit my favourite BTS song is ‘Let me know’, the live versions. The live version has Jin singing with Jimin at the end with Jungkook ad libbing, it’s brilliant, Jimin’s high note is unbelievable. I hope that you will watch it one day as Suga wrote it and I believe it’s one of their best songs ever. 💜💜💜💜

Army helps bts win music shows by streaming, buying, watching the MV and voting weekly. Additional points come from them performing onstage. But most of the score points is from us streaming & voting for Bangtan. Easiest way to support them. 💜

So music shows are not like American Idol or The Voice. But they are competitive but it’s not based on stage performance. It’s song performance—in the radio, charts, sales, streams, online votes, and text votes during the show. So it’s like your weekly top 40s but on TV format. And artists can come on the show whether or not they are charting. They can come to debut or do their comeback promotions. But they also announce the weekly charts. In the UK, it’s sort of like Top of the Pops.
