Hello Again Primos

The winner of our D&W Album Live Performance was Cypher P3. We scanned the comments to see recommended performances and this one looked to be the most popular. Either way, we knew it was going to be SUPER Hype. 

Note: In case you're wondering where the reaction to the Skool Luv Affair poll winner is, that'll be out tomorrow. It's technically out of order but we wanted to release this while it was still fresh.

i really wish people would have recommended the newer performance of this in the busan concert unless they did as you guys were planning on watching the concert. They changed some of the words to make it relevant for all the hate they was getting for 'breaking up' in the media honestly one of the best rap line performances IMO. Hope you can react at some point

Ohhh i love this performance !! Kinda wish y’all have chosen the most recent one in 2022😭 They performed Cypher pt.3 at their last concert before the military “Yet to Come” in Busan in October 2022. I think their energy was on a whole another level and they also changed a few lyrics. But anyway, this one is sooo good too!! Thanks for the reaction!! 🎀

This performance is just SO intense. I think the message of the song was still so true to them which is why they went so hard. But the Busan performance is more theatrical and they look like old pros. I hope maybe eventually you get around to reacting to the Busan concert (on Amazon Prime). You’ll really feel like you’re at a concert. If you don’t react to it, please PLEASE make sure to watch it on your own time! Do a movie night or something haha it of course we’d love to watch it with you guys.

yessss! wow, I still remember last February watching Yet To Come in Busan In Cinemas. That was crazyyyyyyy! we were all so excited, dressed like we were in the actual concert, with army bombs and singing so loud! and ofc cypher pt. 3 was one of my favorite moments! 👉❤️ the entire concert is fire! i really hope ccw will watch it someday! ❤️‍🩹

Jungkook and j-hope are our adlib kings but both in different senses. Jungkook obviously does vocal riffs all over songs, but j-hope does adlibs all over tracks that totally change the energy of them. There are edits that go around sometimes of everything removed from a BTS track but the beat and j-hope's adlibs and they add so much depth and texture and energy to the track. Baepsae, GOGO, Anpanman, the Cyphers...lots of great examples out there. He's just got really good instincts for that stuff and he knows how to fill out a track to keep the momentum and energy up (which is really helpful live too). If you look for it, you'll notice it all the time. This is one of my favorite lives so I'm so glad you reacted to it. I agree that the song has a much different impact live. I love the studio version too but the rap line is so powerful and charismatic on stage that it really just takes it to the next level. It will never cease to amaze me how three such different and talented rappers can also have such excellent chemistry. They enhance each other, not distract from each other. That's the dream team right there. The Foundation Line, the musical pillars of BTS, the fathers of k-pop...KINGS, all of them.

I saw people mention Busan. I’m going to hope they watch that as a whole and not bits and pieces. It’s top tier but watching as a whole concert is an experience. Thank you ccw for the reaction to a live performance this week. Such a treat. I love rap line. And part of what makes BTS so fun to watch is exactly what you all mentioned, they are so different with the sub units and not to mention their solo performances. Their catalog gives you it all. And they play off of each other so well. Ad libs are on point and they just balance each other out so well on stage in the sub units and as a whole. Loving this week.

Cypher fan here, 3 and 4 are my favorite, but RM's part in Pt 2 is insane. That said, this video is very low quality, whoever sends them the videos they will watch, needs to watch them first to make sure CCW get the best live available.

The hype is realllll! Somearmy once said that BTS music is for people. Meaning it really is life; sometimes you need Cyphers, other times The Astronaut. Army stays because they narrate the lives we lead. There’s always right songs. I don’t think any other artist comes close to doing this because they stay in their lanes while BTS makes their own way. Concert setlists are amazing/insane.

Jhope most definitely did not roll his r’s…there is a super cute video of him trying so hard to say “brrrrrr” while rolling his r’s and he can’t do it. 😂 Cyphers Live are on a whole other level. Even when Yoongi did part of them alone during D-Day concerts the place was so hype! I also agree that Hobi is the perfect hype man. All of his sound effects are 😙🤌🏼 perfection.

Yes! Came to say the exact same thing about edits removing everything but ad libs. It’s crazy how much Jhope and Jungkook add to the tracks and I don’t think a lot of people realize it until they hear one of those edits. Those two must put in so much extra time adding all of that to the tracks. The 7 of them are just such a well rounded group. 💜

really wish they would not rush this album reactions that much. Its not like they are in a hurry. I really would suggest that you dont start a new album every week and maybe use the time of the second week to react to several live performances of the album. I am sure lot of Army would prefer it this way. Cause we really like to see reactions to live performances. I hope you would consider this suggestion. One live per album is really little. I think a lot of people would prefer you to slow the reactions down and watch more live performances per album.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You should really watch the whole yet to come busan concert. You will be more amazed by them!!! This is the day before they announced their enlistment plans. They know this is their last concert together for a while, hence, the passion and energy is nothing like before.
