Thank you! Such a treat to watch this with you. Each series has its own special & very memorable moments. The international hub thing is so funny- I’ve heard them talk about it years after that. Jinminkook i hope u get to see compilations- this trio is hilarious. Of course any convo w RM is always insightful. Hobi & Namjoon 🥰. Yoongi & Tae when together is sweet & hilarious. This Hawaii friendship trip was so special. It just gets better & better. If u want to see more dynamics between the duos, trios, quads, Sugarmyy does a great job featuring. I love how they’re always true to themselves 🫶🏼💜

Sympathise with how you feel Abbie since I've been to Hawaii too. Also, I was freaked out as I saw lots of one footed pigeons when I visited St Mark's Square by the Vatican in Venice. x :D

The reason there are so many Korean people who BTS run into on the streets in Hawai is due to the fact that it is a very popular tourist destination for Koreans as it is a direct flight from Seoul to Honolulu. Thank youuuu for the reaction! I laughed so hard haha... especially the chaoticness of JINMINKOOK :D

I can totally understand Abby’s excitement being in the same place as BTS (even if it was years apart). I was in the same giddy feeling when i went to Malta. I literally track down the places they’ve been to while filming Bon Voyage there almost 5-6 years ago. Many have changed but it still feels like traveling with them. 🙈💜

it was filmed in april of 2017 and i actually was there in waikiki at the exact same time as they were but i didn't know who they were back then...i literally discovered them a month later lol...also last year for my birthday i took a solo trip back to honolulu and i went to all the places bts visited in bon voyage it was so much fun, the food was all so good and all the places they went to had their signatures that they left for them...i have so many pictures of it, it was amazing. for the restaurant jungkook jimin jin hobi and joonie were at that you were asking if their signatures are still there..they are! the entire restaurant is now covered in bts fanart along with bts' own signatures it's so cute...i have pictures and videos i can send you guys if you want to see it!

Hawai’i has a huge population of Asians. My elementary and middle school classes consisted of mostly Asians (Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, etc) and Pacific Islanders (Samoan, Hawai’ian, Tongan, etc). Depending on the area you grew up in, or the school you went to, there might be 1 or 2 caucasian or black families within the school system. Lol when the locals go on vacations, many go to Vegas, but Hawai’i is known or was known as a big vacation destination for Asian countries. So I wasn’t at all surprised that the boys came across people who spoke Korean or at least enough to help them out (for example the Bus driver who helped J-Hope and Jin).

they are saying hana, dul, set when they count btw they just say it super fast! same with kawi, bawi, bo for scissors, paper, and rock. i love that you guys are seeing how naturally funny they are around each other. bv season 4 is my fav season and i can’t wait til you get to it! i think this show is a good marker to see how their dynamic has grown over time.

You missed it. At 42:47 a fan was asking for a photo. That's what the subtitle said. But confusingly it also said ...asking for a sample. So I think J- Hope misinterpreted what the fan said. But he did answer like he always does. "Important Business"

Although Jin, Jimin and JK were hilarious together with Jin's maknae side coming out more whenever he hangs out with the younger members, my favorite friendship date is TaeGi. It's so endearing to see Yoongi spoiling Taehyung like a little brother here, and Taehyung being extra shy around his Yoongi hyung. This was back in 2017 so it's nice to watch this on hindsight knowing how so much closer they are now (all of them in fact). Even Hobi and Namjoon were still feeling awkward around each other on cam as they said, but now are the two closest members, being each other's first person to listen to their solo albums. That is just the sweetest! Anyway, I loved this episode and loved your reactions! So nice to see you had a lot of laugh watching. Can't wait to see your reactions to the Behind the Scenes :-)

Hiiiiii so i went to hawaii last year and yes they still have the JinMinKook sign. They actually placed it along the entrance so it's the first thing you see :)

It's been awhile since I've seen BV season 2 and forgot how many classic moment/inside jokes were in this season. You guys watching the Bon Voyage seasons made me rewatch season 4 this past week. Can't wait til you get to season 4! No spoilers here of course... but you'll get to see how much they've grown and the production gets better as the seasons go by.

53:12 lol nope you can see the waiters hand is still on the chair right next to jungkook as he got down on his hands and knees to bow bc they asked for a bit extra bc they were poor 😂 when they commit….. they commit lol especially jinminkook lol this trio is known for being chaotic together… they outed them as the 3 who drink together when they were choosing groups last episode lol they’re a lot of fun that’s for sure Our boys don’t play when it comes to food lol no shame in asking for a hefty portion bc they had no money 🥰 they have done this multiple times… in other countries also but mainly if they’re at a restaurant where someone speaks Korean or it’s a Korean restaurant.

Lol jungkook was the one saying “free sample” as he walked by looking in the window which is why jimin turns to look bc he must of thought he was getting a sample… but quickly realized he wasn’t and at the same time a fan asked for a photo and Jin said “sorry important business.”

Random but Daniel mentioned melting pot… omg I loved that place!!!! All near me closed during the pandemic and I totally forgot about that place… ugh the spinach and artichoke cheese dip, the chocolate dip with the strawberries, banana and little cake pieces, the green goddess dip for veggies and teriyaki for chicken… omg i miss that palace!!! Oh and their salad!!!! Ugh everything about that place was so freaking good!!

I agree. I didn't think I'd particularly like it but it was really good. The customers were fab and the team working together was great too. I now have a craving for gimbap and tteokbokki.

jungkook jin and jimin are a notorious trio lol. like jin and jungkook are already a chaotic pair but the three of them together just go wild XD they are known to be the ones who hang out to drink together, especially late after shows and stuff.. and they have some of the most famous and funny vlives together

I've been to the udon place they ended up not going to. Its very popular so the wait line is always long. We were lucky when we went and got there as the restaurant was close to opening and didn't have to wait long. But I can relate with Abby because each time I recognize a street or area they were at I was so excited too. I went in 2021 though so 2 years after Abby and 4 years after BTS.

Jhope got seasick because one he was nervous because of the sharks two he was sitting most of the boat ride to and from facing backwards to be able to talk with the team, Jimin on the return ride sat on the back seat, so he didn’t get seasick. The shrimp truck is located at the opposite part of Haleiwa town from where they were parked or started. They walked the whole length of town, not a big town but when you are hungry it’s far. The Burger boys actually didn’t have to go far, just that Teddy’s Bigger Burgers are really good, and Popular. I’ve noticed whenever they are eating they do stuff their mouths, I’ve noticed that on all the BV seasons and IN THE SOOP season. I’ve seen it on other shows like MUKBANG (pronounced: mook-bong). Even big stars eat the same, they talk with their mouth full, the smack when they eat. I think it’s a their dining etiquette not like westerners. It’s like in some European cultures it’s OK to burp at the table after a meal. They pretty much walked the length of Waikiki, starting from the Honolulu Zoo park. They were all looking for Korean Food, especially having been on tour for 2 months. Suga and V were smart to locate a restaurant not on the main drag where night crowds are on Kuhio Ave where the others ended up at, that is place always packed with long lines for dinner, you have to get there before the 5 o’clock hour. V and Suga shopped at King’s Alley, and looks like they found a place in the Pacific Beach Hotel Area that caters to Asian Tours. I think the 3 J’s went to the ABC Shop at the corner of Kuhio and Kanekapolei. JH & RM looks to be at the Waikiki Trade Center, upstairs of the same building they dined in. The 3 J’s ended up at the corner of Royal Hawaiian Ave and Kalakaua Ave(the main drag). I tell how much Abby enjoyed her Hawaii vacation just by the way she gets excited and reminisces. I’m the same when I watch shows of places I’ve visited. They had such a long day, with a lot of walking and riding, plus the boat ride out to sea was rough. They went from one end of the island as they are staying on the East side in Hawaii Kai, went to the Haleiwa on the North Shore (50-60 minutes) then back to their house (hopefully they took a Nap) then into Waikiki during Traffic hour, walking Waikiki to find a place to eat (like they did for lunch), then again drive back to Hawaii Kai, and to think the next day they are going back to the North Shore. I’m sure they sleep in the bus. Just thinking it’s a vacation that will need a vacation to recoup, (I’m getting exhausted) but these guys don’t have the time to relax when the get home, cause they will be finishing off the WINGS Tour that won’t end until December. Their Calendar is so packed. I could never have done that kind of schedule as they did, no wonder how in 2018, they talked of disbanding.

It's so fun to watch Boy Voyage with you all! I always struggled to motivate myself to watch it on my own since I get distracted easily, but it's great when I can see it with you and hear your thoughts and anecdotes! I cannot wait for you to get to the In the Soop content once you're done with Bon Voyage, I'm sure you heard about it. It's like a follow up to the series, more recent staycations at one house where they do different activities. Anyways wish you a good day!
