I remember when this happened—the boys were in the middle of their world tour and they’d just finished covering South America and the states, and there was about a week or two before their tour dates in Asia, so they left the states and staff had them go from there to Hawaii. We as fans had already speculated they were filming bv2 after finding out they weren’t back home in Korea but were spotted by fans in Hawaii. Was super exciting.

The Wings tour started in Korea then went to South America and the U.S. - that was the first month of the tour (why BTS said the month went by fast).... The final U.S. show was in L.A. and then they had three weeks off before their next tour date, so they enjoyed and filmed this vacation during that break.... Hawaii was a good choice since the rest of their tour dates were all in Asia and Australia, so a stop in Hawaii is almost inevitable when traveling east from the U.S. anyway!

Koreans tends to wear facemasks since forever even before the covid starts. 1st is because how bad the air quality south korea has. 2nd is because whether they are non-celebs or celebs, koreans really cares about their looks so they dont like going outside without any makeup on or if they have pimples or if men didnt get to shave their small beards. 3rd is because all celebs have "sasaengs" (you can google the meaning of it) so they wear facemask plus baseball caps to cover their faces when going outside to buy something or so they can walk around freely. So wearing facemask is normalized in south korea.

I wore long sleeves/trousers when I was in Hawaii some days since it can get windy/cloudy/rainy. Like most asians, achieving a tan is not our top priority since it is so aging for your skin. x :D

BY THE WAY I NOTICED THAT DANIEL WANTS TO LEARN HOW TO SAY ROCK PAPER AND SCISSORS IN KOREAN SO THE SIMPLE KOREAN RPS IS "GAWI, BAWI, BO". Gawi means scissors, Bawi means rock and Bo means papers. So it is scissors, rock, paper in korean. And koreans like to say or pronounce the words shorter so they could easily say it faster so the fast pronounciation goes "GAY, BAY, BO" when you pronounce GAY and BAY the letter "A" here pronounced like "A" in "apple" not the "A" in "maze".

The "ladder game" that BTS used to divide the rooms basically works like this: for the number of options (let's say for example 7 rooms for 7 members) you have to draw 7 vertical lines. After that you have to draw random ladder rungs between the lines. Everyone then picks one of the seven starting points and follow their line by making a turn at every rung (so you can't decide where to go since you have to follow every rung while "climbing down" the ladder). By doing this, each starting point will definitely end up at a different end point. The game is very useful for such random choices, therefore BTS used this game instead of Rock, Paper, Scissors for example, to divide the rooms amongst each other.

I love the beach which is why I wont leave Guam, I would love to see the beaches in Hawaii. Also, Bts reminds me of when I was working at Kmart Guam, its a tourist stop and they literally are like ever other tourist on Guam, look for floral shirts, flip flops, swim/bodysuits, buy a whole bunch of keychains, island fashion jewelry....I was laughing while they were shopping, very nostalgic to me.

fun fact an army took a video of them from afar when they did the funny self cam mv shoot HAHAHAHA but the army didnt disturbed them and let bts just do their thing.

I’m from Hawaii and I love going to the beach to soak in the sun and take a dip, but I’m not a fan of snorkeling. Lol! Now the infinity pool over looking the beach, that I will definitely do!! Lol!

S. Korea also has beaches. Not near Seoul. But Busan where Jimin and Jungkook grew up is near the ocean on the Southeastern tip of S. Korea.

They were not famous in Hawaii yet. So they could walk around. No way could they do that now. Jin was singing a real BTS song. Maybe one of his solos, but other Army will have to tell you. I don't remember the name of song. I just remember how beautiful it is. Why was Suga tired? He takes his recording equipment everywhere he goes. Maybe just on his lap top. But he writes a song every day of his life. He can't shut down his brain. He loves staying up all night creating. He's always tired during their day events. And usually gets a nap in. Just wait until he is doing military service. That will have to change. It won't be easy for him. Also, you noticed RM enjoying his time away from the crazy boys. He gets tired of their antics. I'm like RM. I love fun crazy creative time. Then I have to have to be alone to re-energize. It took me a long time to realize I'm really am introvert. Even though I'm a Musical Theatre person. I'm really like Suga. Why don't they each have a bed? The company is still not rich enough. The trip to Hawaii...very expensive. Finally, when on concert tours they each get their own room and bed. You will Love all of their adventures. So glad you've arrived in Hawaii with them. You guys still make me laugh. You ask questions that have just been answered in the subtitles. It's ok. It just means you are highly intelligent. Your brain is thinking about other things instead of just reading the subtitles. Multi tasking. I'm so guilty of that too. I will be watching videos with the TV on. Switching back and forth between commercials. I've learned our brains can not effectively multi task. So I'm working on stopping that. Aloha. Final note: Their favorite concert audiences...Brazil. On your own...go find a live Brazil concert. You will Not believe how loud they are! How they've memorized every song in Korean. They go completely bonkers!

This is a fun season! They go to the Big Island first for a few days then over to Ohau They always have staff and managers wherever they go sometimes you can see them sitting next to them or in the back ground with their faces blurred out. They do film them but just don't assist them.😊

Guys, please try not to overthink. I feel like you analyze things too much and miss the fun of watching :-( I agree with the others saying you will find out or get what's happening as you continue watching. And we don't mind if you need to pause to discuss things. We can watch BTS content over and over and over again, so no worries! With reading the subtitles and watching them, sometimes talking at the same time makes you miss the important and funny parts. At times, you wonder what happened but it was there in the subs :( Excited to go back to BV2 with you all and looking forward to your own discoveries about our boys in this journey. I feel like you guys ask waaaaaay too many questions during the video, it's okay to just watch to enjoy and just take it in, no need to overthink or find an answer to every little thing, just enjoy the dialogue between the members because that's really the most important thing. I've been army since 2020, but haven't watched this season yet– so I'm STOKED to watch it with CCW for my first time 🥰 Still watching atm, but just to clarify: 1) Yes, masks have been normal for YEARS in Asia, pre-covid! I think it's so great– if you don't want to get others sick, don't want to get sick yourself, or just want to be anonymous– it's awesome that it's the norm to wear one whenever. 2) V is always overdressed LOL, there's plenty of memes about him always being in a suit

Thank you so much for the reaction guys, I was gonna re watch bon voyage 2 but now I can watch it together with you again lets gooo. But also like I've seen other people suggesting I hope you guys would pause or rewind to be able to catch whats going on, cuz you talk among each other and miss things and then talk among each other again to figure out what you missed so you end up missing a whole lot of other stuff. BTS are really funny and just their wittiness that you really can't miss. I hope you guys don't take this badly but as a viewer it does frustrate me a little bit, don't overthink it and just have fun watching them and reading the subs what you guys don't understand you end up getting the answer to it like a few minutes later anyway. This Bon Voyage had so many wholesome and comedic moments so I hope you don't miss it.

Thats cool for you💜, the constant questions just made it seem like they were confused the whole time rather than just watching and enjoying. That's just how I personally saw it, I'm not saying they are bad people or that they should be silent the whole time or never ask anything, and I'm not saying they shouldn't be genuine, the constant questions and overthinking was just too much in THIS video for ME. And again I wasn't trying to force or bully them into acting a certain way. If y'all are fine with it that's one million percent fine, I was bothered by it and that's okay

That game they played for room assignments is the Ladder Game.SADARI, commonly played to win a prize, as in this scenario it was to sleep in a twin size bed. Funny that it turned out who was gonna sleep with RM in the Queen Bed. Hehehe 😜 I enjoyed this BV because it was better organized, their luggage was handled for them, they are transported together. They don’t seem to have to worry about cooking either. They pretty much had the same rules &amp; “Important Business”. THE Open-Air Shopping Centers seems empty of people, it’s because they were at the Kings Shops. Which is always less crowded because of their location in the middle of a Lava Desert. It’s probably why they went there. The Touristy people you would find them in Kailua-Kona the main town, BTS is staying in a BNB rental in the Waikoloa Big Name Resort Area that is 30-35 miles away from town.

You'll most likely find V in shaded areas because he has a skin condition called cholinergic urticaria. He breaks out in hives if his body temperature elevates past a certain level and he sweats. If you notice, that's why he usually wears a lot of baggy and over-sized clothes when they go out.

It's okay to give them constructive criticism but I actually feel like this might just be your preference. I love that they are interested, curious, and asking questions to learn as they watch. I'm not sure why you would want to suggest to them to stop doing as such? I don't think I understand, I don't want them to feel like they have to perform for army, we love the love they have for the boys! No harm meant towards you either love, just wanted to mention that we don't always have to share our opinion. I personally am not a fan of people who pause a ton in videos, but I'm not subbed to those reactors on patreon bc it's my personal preference and that's okay. but they shouldn't have to change their watching style just because you want something else.

Guys PLEASE PLEASE stop talking over constantly and asking so many questions that will be answered anyway if you watch and read the subs. It looks that you are more interested in the stuff and behind the camera instead of focusing on the guys. With all due respect, please refrain from telling CCW how you think they should consume content to your liking. If they were dead silent so as not to “talk over” it would defeat the purpose of watching a /reaction/ channel. The fact they’re so engaged and asking questions and discussing moments is what separates them from a lot of reaction channels out there who are purely using BTS for views while not actually caring about the Tannies. These four people are invested in this BTS journey and I love to see it. I do, to a certain degree, understand where you’re coming from but I think this comment was unnecessary. They’re curious. And they do try to pause and rewind where they can. If they miss 9 seconds of content here or there bc they’re asking a question, it’s okay. Dictating how they are supposed to react on their own channel (in their own home) is only going to take the enjoyment out of things and make them feel uncomfortable and restrained.

Yes like Seneca mentioned it's not common in the US at all. I discovered it while watching Japanese contents. I wish it was more common though it's a fun and useful way to assign things!

Ah snorkeling is really fun with good quality snorkel gear that prevents water from getting in the tube. Would definitely invest in some next time you go snorkel instead of renting. They're not expensive and it really makes the experience 10x better and less stressful. I'm not a strong swimmer and water getting in my nose/mouth makes me panic but I love snorkeling.

In regards to them traveling casually/without getting recognized, they *are* big at this point in regards to tours/revenue, but I wouldn't say they were "mainstream" yet. So it's not like they'd have western paparazzi caring to follow them at this point. And I guess it also depends where they travel (like, they probably couldn't walk like this through LAX lol). Most people in Hawaii are probably focused on vacay and not celebrity spotting, haha. And fun fact– armys will actually post AFTER the BV season has premiered, that they saw BTS filming, but kept it a secret out of respect! Sometimes they'll even share pics they took of them from afar, but kept to themselves until the premiere. BTS has posted to thank fans for keeping the secret too!

I don't know if anyone already mentioned this or not, but when they were filming their silly little 'music video' in all in a row with the camera and the music on their first day ... an ARMY actually saw them and filmed them with their cell phone and posted it later after Bon Voyage aired.
