No I don’t think Zau knew the blue spirit was Zuko. Before he let them go Zau said the avatar must be captured alive. Then after that was said Zuko threatened to kill Aang by putting his swords against his neck. That was a threat against Zau. Basically like if you don’t let us go I’ll kill him. Then Zau let them go so an archer could take out Zuko from far away. Then he was going to capture Aang and the blue spirit and turn them in. Aang would have been kept alive, but Zuko most likely would have been killed or imprisoned. Zuko was already banished and not in good standing with his father or the fire nation. This event would just mark him as a traitor and be seen as treason. Even if Zau knew it was Zuko I don’t think he had good intentions. Zau is a very selfish character. Sorry for the long comment. 😅 That’s just what I think. Love all your reactions. 💜

Regarding the Funko Pops, I know some people keep them in their boxes & some people buy the special cases for them....I did not even keep my boxes, I purchased mine to enjoy & being a Chicago transplant I have several that are among my Chicago memorabilia that include former Chicago Cubs players, Blackhawks players and Chicago Bears (Walter Payton!!) as well as a Michael Jordan one that came with a clear stand so you see that he gets "air" - they have great detailing that you wouldn't get from them just sitting in the box. So unless you are counting on them hopefully becoming a collectors item in the future, take them out to save the space, see the detailing & better clarity (I'm sure Dynamite Jungkook will look much better out of the box) and enjoy them! 😉

I saw these series a long time ago so I don't know for sure but I think Zhao let them go because he didn't want avatar to reincarnate again he thought those archers will help him to catch Aang againg so he didn't risk it.

Now that i’ve started the Avatar series with Daniel & Gabriel, I am excited to rewatch it with new commentary. My next suggestion would be watching The Legend of Korra ! It is soo good !

It used to be a tradition for myself to re-watch the entire Avatar series at least once a year.. I haven’t been holding up that tradition for the past 2-3 years so it’s been amazing watching you both react to this show. I’m already excited for Book 3!!!
