Oasis Main Menu Background (Patreon)

As we’ve already discussed at some length, along with the release of Old Acquaintances, we have included various new main menu backgrounds, and today we’d like to talk a little about the one that pertains to Javek: the oasis. When things take off the ground in the DLC, it is the sorcerer’s place of refuge and respite from a life fraught with strife and near-insurmountable challenges, and while it offers those things in ample measure, restlessness does, nonetheless, get the better of him.

As we mentioned last time, there are, of course, other backgrounds. Sunfire and Moonshadow’s unique background is one of these, as is a revised version of the old school comitatus, which contains a more fitting rendition of Sedarias for these new times – a decidedly more sepulchral one. One can adjust and choose these backgrounds by clicking the button that shows two arrows linking together in the bottom right corner of the main menu screen.

Take the time to fiddle around with them, and we’re sure you’ll find one to your liking. And now,  the time has come for us to send you off in the usual fashion: stay prepared, stay vigilant, and conquer the wasteland!
