Having deployed Old Acquaintancesfirst hotfix, the team at Lost Pilgrims Studio has moved on to our next project: the regional DLC. The beginning of this process is iterative and requires intense coordination; it begins with the design phase, planning locations, and an overarching narrative. We need to understand what unique gameplay elements the DLC will bring to the table, which narrative beats we want to focus on, and finally, which characters or NPCs will drive that narrative.

We’re at the beginning of a long road, yet the team is excited about what the future will bring. There’s a lot we’re keen to develop with this regional DLC, even if its scope won’t be quite as comprehensive as Sunfire and Moonshadow’s.

In short, our writers are already writing, our artists are continuing to draw some of the most unique environments yet, and our technical staff – programmers, quality assurance, and UI specialists – are working hard on improving our tools and processes.

You could say we’re firing on all cylinders. There’s something else, too. We would ask you – the players – to review any of our DLCs that you’ve played, offering any feedback you can, be it critical or otherwise. All feedback helps us move toward building a better game for the future, not to mention any other games we might one day decide to make. 

And, with that in mind, we must bid you farewell for now. Stay vigilant, stay tuned, and conquer the wasteland!
