Okay, I really did not expect the enthusiasm towards Black Velvet to continue at the pace that it’s at. 🥲 I was worried it was becoming stale to readers and was unsure if I also felt that way.

You all left the sweetest and most loving comments. We had a great discussion about this book on discord. I didn’t have time to respond to the comments here, but I read all of them (and some made me want to cry) 😂

It really is so amazing to see how much love you all hold for this book and the characters. I’m very appreciative of that and also for the consideration of my feelings/needs if I were to want to move on.

I personally think Oliver and Tobias have a lot more potential for growth together in a relationship (and on their own, as blossoming adults) ahead of them, so I’m excited to write more about them. I will continue to write them together until we truly get to a point where I can no longer sustain a story. 🥰

I’m glad that you all are happy with this rewrite and the direction of the plot. It makes me feel warm to know that people get a sense of comfort/a cozy feeling from the slice of life.
