I have made an update and writing schedule for next month, as well as a written list of tasks relating to books for each day, which is quite possibly the most organized I have ever been. 😬

I’m treating Patreon as my main form of employment now (though one that I absolutely love, don’t take that negatively), so I do want to take on as much as I can and sort of get into a system that works for me/you all.

I am still working at the clinic on Saturdays and Mondays, so I will likely not be active those days. (I’m too scared to rely entirely on Patreon with shifting reader interests — also, I’m super insecure about my writing! Haha)

My daughter starts school towards the 20th of August, and when she does, I’ll be working from 9-3 on writing from Tuesday-Friday and then on Sunday for the rest of the school year!

As I’ve said, on Patreon, I can’t see silent readers, even if I appreciate them just as much! I can’t see which stories you enjoy unless you vote/comment, as Patreon isn’t set up with viewership stats. TWO TIER:

The Blue House of 1478:

I am currently rewriting this! If this is the only book you are interested in from me, please know that it’s being rewritten at the moment. A new chapter will be posted as soon as I finish (let’s say 10 days, MAX.). Please see the last post about this to find more information about the rewrite.

I’m babying this story and making sure that it’s given the love it deserves in the form of a rewrite because it DOES have a loyal little pool of readers.

The changes are meant to be minor, but I will make another post if they become significant enough that the book requires a reread.

Mostly I’m tying in the hints of the backstory between Adrian/Theo to make his role more obvious. My hints at their history were way too subtle last time, and I think his reintroduction may blindside readers. I will also be adding Sleepy Birch lore/Levi’s ties to Sleepy Birch earlier. If you’re a fan of clues, I do suggest rereading as chapters are rewritten.

I will also make the things Leviticus speaks of in the last chapters (his thoughts on Theo) more obvious beforehand, too, with more droplets of romance.

I also want to characterize Theo a little more consistently (so that he’s not entirely unsympathetic/bratty before a light is shed on his backstory). I think I was much too subtle the first go around, and the plot really caught people by surprise in a not-so-fluid way.

Black Velvet:

Black Velvet is still a priority story. This means that Black Velvet receives the most updates in a month out of any other story. This is due to “reader insights,” which is basically the engagement on each post. Black Velvet’s engagement is the greatest out of any story. Votes and comments are really the only way for me to gauge interest on Patreon. There isn’t a views guide, so, unfortunately, silent readers go unseen.

Wicked Boy:

I plan to make longer Wicked Boy chapters next month. Reader interest in Wicked Boy has faded significantly. I think this is partially due to reader fatigue during this arc — and Milan’s “realization of trauma” arc (emotional arcs can be draining when readers are waiting for updates, just to get sad ones, haha) I think I can push the story towards plot points by extending the length of the chapters to include multiple scenes.

FIVE TIER

DARLING:

Darling is also a priority story for the five-tier. It seems to have a pretty decent following, which amazes me, and I actually am really looking forward to this plot! (And romance)

Seraphino:

Updates on Seraphino come slowly, the reason for this being that Seraphino is EXTREMELY plot-heavy. I’m not entirely sure that it will end up being a singular book, either, because of the heaviness of the plot and world-building. If you like plot-heavy stories such as Seraphino and you hate waiting for updates, I suggest also reading Cherry Bomb (demon boyfriends, hello) or Erebos (monster love interest, check) or even The Blue House of 1478 after its rewrite. Darling is much lighter but also has a SIGNIFICANTLY supernatural plot.

Erebos:

Erebos is sort of a happy surprise update; it doesn’t have many followers. I do update it at least once a month. If there’s interest in Erebos, please let me know because it’s a very plot-heavy book as well (with darker tones like Seraphino), but the romance kicks off sooner.

Dusk:

Did anyone like this Black Velvet AU??? Hahahaha

Human/sex demon romance? Sign me up. Not sure if anyone is super into this, but I AM, so I will continue to write in it. 😬Switching POV between Fen and Elsie will likely continue because this will be my first story where it shifts POVs to allow a sapphic romance as well.
