Thank you <3 Can't describe how much this resonates with me in the moment. Also had my 25th birthday this year (2nd pandemic birthday, yay), and spent the last year massively educating myself on environmental and social topics and a lot of other interconnected issues, as I guess a lot of us have - and yeah, there is no going back once those really start settling into one's perception of the world. ... This is my 5th attempt trying to write down how some bad days feel, and how the world seems, but it ends up being just too specific and cheap. There is really nothing notworthy to add, anyone facing a similar situation has had their own experience with this and gets it. What I wanted to get to is that this video, even though not being directly about my situation, and even though it isn't a type of "we're all in this togetjer" video (at leas not directly), helped me feel not alone in this with my gf (who will not be reading this, but man I would have not "come of age" in such a way without her, and I need to give her a shoutout even if it makes this already unnecessarily long comment even longer - not to mention this parenthesis already broke the tone of the sentence it is in-), not one of a few that care too much, not crazy in not seeing the world as I did before while people around me are still seeing it like that... it made me feel hopeful and at calm. Maybe it's just me projecting too much of my own experience, but thank you still. Can only hope it has the same calming effect on my gf (if she watches it), she needs it more then I do at the moment.
